I visit my friend regularly in Lindau where she has been a resident for a couple of years. She is happy to be at Lindau as she feels safe and warm and is a lot less lonely than when she lived alone at home, having become widowed. She had started to get confused with memory problems and had reached the stage of not being safe enough to be on her own at home.

She enjoys living at Lindau and has a busy social calendar now.

My mother has been through a dreadful time with bereavement, betrayal, theft and found herself homeless and in very poor health. She has been through the NHS system and has been unsettled and scared. However, she and our family are so relieved and grateful to the staff at Lindau for their care, compassion and practicality and experience in my mother's care.

We hope that she remains at Lindau for the rest of her life if possible as we have found them to be faultless in the comfort she deserves.

Lindau Residential Home is set on a lovely street near the seafront and an interesting small town. Immediately the location is perfect for a residential home. The gardens are beautiful. As soon as you arrive the staff make all visitors feel at home to be with their family members with few limitations. The residents have lots of stimulation and the atmosphere is very homely and sociable.

My nan moved into Lindau in December 2022 after a long recovery following a fall in July 2022. The manageress was incredibly supportive in helping me place my nan at Lindau. My nan was very happy with the home and really wanted to live there. It was important to us that she was placed somewhere she felt safe and comfortable. Since living there, she has flourished, gaining some weight and becoming more like herself. The staff encourage her and assist her to take care of herself and her well-being.

My mum seems very happy, and that is all I can ask for. Tough decision putting her in a home, but it's been the best decision I ever made. She is well looked after in every way with kindness, caring, and genuine affection from all the staff; it really is a wonderful, clean, well-kept, happy place to live for Mum, and I am very grateful to the team. Thank you.

The first thing you notice when you walk into Lindau is how spotlessly clean it is, then how friendly and caring the staff are. The home is obviously managed to a very high standard and I'm so pleased my sister was able to be placed here.

Cant rate this place enough! Absolutely amazing! Went above and beyond for my nan who was here for the past fifteen months! Staff are brilliant! So professional and friendly too! They did so many great events and activities to encourage the residents to get involved with!
In her own home, my nan had multiple falls and we were always worried how she was coping. Once arriving at Lindau Residential Home that worry just disappeared! She never fell again which was such a relief!

Definitely recommend this place!

I have visited several care homes over the years and find Lindau Residential Home to be one of the most pleasant. The staff are friendly and cheerful and have a lovely manner with the residents. The decor is bright and clean and modern with plenty of comfort for the elderly residents. The food is varied and caters for the palettes of the residents. My friend certainly has no complaints with the care and attention received.

I just wanted to express what a wonderful, caring, kind and compassionate care home Lindau is. I was kept informed (as the main contact) of any changes or concerns. Our family friend received the best palliative and end-of-life care. She was comfortable and peaceful when she passed. They gave her happy times before she became palliative as she was always smiling. Cannot praise them enough.

During my Aunts stay at Lindau, she was treated with love and exemplary care. All of the staff care greatly about all the residents and are always smiling and happy to see family, nothing is too much trouble for them.
We cannot thank the team enough and we love the fact that we are part of the Lindau family. In particular the Manager makes us welcome and keeps us informed, she is a credit to the home.

The home is spotlessly clean and run by people who really do care.

My mother-in-law has thrived in the care of the manager and the staff at Lindau. Her mobility has improved immensely, she is healthier, happier and content. She joins in all of the activities and enjoys having her hair and nails done. She has gone from eating nothing to enjoying all the meals that are prepared and given to her. Fantastic staff, very caring and kind. She is always treated with dignity.
