All her needs were met, and care was given to her, above and beyond.
In Mum's final days; the attention to care was the same. She was washed, changed, chatted to, sat with frequently to make sure her needs were continuously met.
I couldn't frankly have wished for better care for Mum, they loved her like family.
Thank you for your comment. It was a pleasure to have spent the last 18-months caring for your Mum, the interaction we had with her and yourselves was special, and she will be sadly missed.
The rooms are lovely and bright and everywhere feels homely, the staff always have time to talk and are always very kind and caring, nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent and everywhere is always very clean and tidy. There are plenty of activities for the residents to choose to do if they wish or they can sit and listen to music, the choice is theirs. I have noticed that with all the improvements the new owners have made the ladies and gents that live at Greenbanks seem to be a lot happier in themselves and have all remarked how they like all the changes.
Mum is very well looked after at Greenbanks. Whilst chatting to her about the review she said she cannot fault anything about the place or the staff. Her dementia causes her to be a little anxious at times, especially at night and the carers cope very well with this. As soon as I come in to see Mum, the staff update me with her general mood and anything she might need. I can feel assured knowing she is safe, happy and well.
My mother went into this care home as she could not safely live on her own any more. At first, she was unsure of where she was and her surroundings. The staff here were so kind to her and soon made her feel at home and I felt that she was treated as an individual. She has a nice room with her own toilet and handbasin. I phone her every day and the staff are always helpful and informative.
My 92 year old mother has settled well, the staff are all helpful and friendly. With the obvious investment being placed into the home I am glad I chose them.
I feel comfortable with my mum being here. As I know she is in safe hands and well looked after here. I don't worry knowing she is here.
Brilliant, friendly staff. Do good things here and happy that my nan is is a good place.
Very warm welcome when we arrive with all the information on my mum's welfare. Eating, drinking, health and behaviour any activities mum has been involved in since our last visit. Beautifully clean and rooms are bright and lovely furniture in clean spacious surroundings.
Much improved since new management has taken over. Good to see the staff doing activities with residents. It was nice to be shown our relatives room.
I have no worries about my aunt, most of the time she seems happy and settled. If I have any issues the staff are always happy to help.
The staff are wonderful. My mother is really happy and is cared for at an exceptional level. The residential home is lovely and clean and nothing is any trouble.
This home has improved considerably since my mother has been here. She is treated with kindness and dignity and careful attention is paid to her health needs. The staff are always cheerful, even when Mummy is being difficult. They are also doing activities with the residents, but not forcing anyone to take part. The staff are very good at informing relatives of any problems and are very supportive. I am always made to feel welcome.
Lovely home with caring, friendly staff. My nan is happy, comfortable and very well looked after.
I would highly recommend Greenbanks to any family looking for a residential care home for a loved one.
They are taken out for lunch on occasions. Entertainers come to the home to amuse them.
The staff are pleasant and help if they are able to help. Considering that many (or most) are of foreign origin they are pleasant and helpful. There is no member of the staff who could be described as difficult!
As a daughter of a resident, I have no worries with Mum continuing to reside here. The staff are helpful, caring and consistent with Mum's needs. They act professionally and act quickly to problems and proactive in all they do. The home is clean and comfortable. Mum's nutritional needs are met and personal care needs met.
Kind, friendly staff, always helpful and willing to assist. Would be excellent but I have nothing to gauge or compare against.
