Elmfield House Care Home is a MULTI AWARD WINNING Care Home located in the picturesque village of Bisley, near Woking, Surrey. It is a family owned residential care home which caters for the needs of 18 elderly residents who have residential or dementia care needs. With just 18 residents it allows the team to give a much more personal service, and allows residents to feel part of the ‘family’ at Elmfield. Bisley is close to the A322 and is conveniently located close to Woking, Guildford and Camberley. The home is directly opposite the idyllic Bisley Green and is well known in the local community.

Elmfield House have been caring and looking after residents for 25 years, during which time they have seen many changes in both the caring system and Elmfield House itself. However, one thing will never change, is the ethos to create a ‘home from home’ environment, where residents feel safe, secure and valued, just as they would in their own home.

Independence is promoted and encouraged. Residents are involved in making as many decisions for themselves as possible. Every resident is always provided and cared for with his or her individual needs in mind. This personalised bespoke care is what makes Elmfield House different from all other care homes.

The staff have been absolutely wonderful with helping my dad settle in. The care he has received at Elmfield House has exceeded my expectations, with the variety of activities available and the food choices available. It is beautifully presented and a great place for my dad to call home.

Dad still loves life at Elmfield. The weekly horse visits and trips out to the duck pond keep him healthy and active. He has been there for over a year now and we cannot fault the care he receives. He is very at home with his friends around him. Being small this place is perfect for him.

Enfield is a very nice clean friendly home. The staff are very caring and are always trying their best to look after our families, as well as looking after our the families too. It has a family atmosphere which bigger homes don't have.

My father in law is very happy here. He loves the staff and has made some great friends. We love to see him in all the monthly newsletters. Before he moved in we were worried that he would be lonely. But we need not worry now as he is kept busy everyday with so much going on. The weekly updates from
the manager ensure that as a family we know about his care needs. Well done Elmfield House for excellent communication for how he does each week. He is always well turned out and loves the home cooked cakes.

My nan stayed at here and I couldn't be happier with the care she received. The facilities are very clean, and thoughtfully designed to create a comfortable environment. What stood out the most was the dedication of the staff. They went above and beyond to make her feel at home, showing kindness and

My uncle is so settled and happy at Elmfield House Care Home. He is still very engaged with all the activities and he loves to see the horse visit every week to feed him carrots. Christmas was very special there and he loved the presents that they bought for him. It is so nice to still see him engaged
and keeping active everyday. The staff do a wonderful job day in, day out.

My uncle has been at Elmfield for around 5 years now and in that time I've witnessed an exceptional level of care not only for my uncle, but for the other residents too. The staff go above and beyond to ensure my uncle is well looked after and there are a good range of activities that he gets involved
in. He often is able to tell me of the things he has done during the week and this means I rest easy knowing he is doing well when me and other family members are not around.


Over the 5 years I've come to know the staff at Elmfield well and I value them so highly I cannot express my gratitude enough. Thank you for continuing to offer such a high level of care.

I visit my granddad every two weeks and every time he's extremely happy. He only has good things to say about his carers and every time I visit they are extremely welcoming and I can tell they really enjoy what they do. He always says his favourite part of the day is lunchtime as he really enjoys the

Our mother was moved to Elmfield House Care Home from France in July 2024. Since that time, which was a traumatic time for our mother and us, Elmfield House allowed us to feel mum is supported, safe and cared for. Elmfield House has been home to my 105 year old mother for more than four years. She feels part of a family and dearly loves the manager and all the carers. She is treated with dignity and affection and often tells me how happy she is to be in Elmfield. As well as being a warm and caring environment,
it is extremely efficient and well-managed. The standard of food and cleanliness is excellent. Our family feel so lucky that my mother is in such a beautiful place and is so wonderfully cared for.

Just had another lovely visit with dad at Elmfield House. Whilst the weather is not great, it was lovely to see him smiling and so settled. The staff do an amazing job at keeping him content. The Christmas decorations in the enclosed garden are lovely for him to look out on. A lot of care and detail

Dad is very happy at Elmfield House Care Home. He continues to visit Teas on the Rec which was very important to him as he has lots of friends there. He also gets his daily walks over to the duck pond. A lovely care home with staff who know dad very well. He loves to bird watch and he is very content.

Nan is so happy at Elmfield House. She enjoys the family weekly visits and she is very settled. The staff are very kind and genuinely care for the residents. We chose Elmfield House simply because it is a small home where the staff clearly know all the residents very well. This was important to us.
The manager knows Nan very well and we feel very happy with how settled she is. The fun with food activities are always nice to see as this is a favourite of hers.

Niccii

Niccii Gillett

Job Title: Registered Manager Joined: 2014

Our Registered Manager at Elmfield House is Miss Niccii Gillett. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience having worked in Health and Social Care for over 21 years. Niccii has been our Registered Manager for over 7 years now and is a long standing member of the team. Niccii has a Level 7 QCF in Health and Social Care Management and she oversees a Senior Care Team who are all trained to at least Level 3 QCF/NVQ standard in HSC.


Since taking over as Manager of Elmfield House in 2014 Niccii has made made significant changes and created and introduced documentation to ensure full regulatory compliance. Niccii has maintained five 'goods' in all of our CQC inspections and in our last inspection in 2019, the lead inspector encouraged Niccii to appeal for 'Outstanding' ratings in the Well led and Caring KLOEs.


Niccii has excelled in creating meaningful relationships within the village of Bisley, making Elmfield House an integral and much-loved part of our community. Niccii was voted for Business Person of the Year award in our village. in 2020. Sadly, due to Covid 19 restrictions, the event did not go ahead. Niccii has enhanced the reputation and profile of Elmfield House making the home known to be one of the best in the area amongst healthcare professionals and the Local Authorities. This was done by showcasing the changes, improvements and success stories. She project managed increasing the occupancy of the care home in 2014. The home was still being lived in by our residents during this time and this required precision planning and excellent communication skills between all involved.
