Elmfield House Care Home is a MULTI AWARD WINNING Care Home located in the picturesque village of Bisley, near Woking, Surrey. It is a family owned residential care home which caters for the needs of 18 elderly residents who have residential or dementia care needs. With just 18 residents it allows the team to give a much more personal service, and allows residents to feel part of the ‘family’ at Elmfield. Bisley is close to the A322 and is conveniently located close to Woking, Guildford and Camberley. The home is directly opposite the idyllic Bisley Green and is well known in the local community.

Elmfield House have been caring and looking after residents for 25 years, during which time they have seen many changes in both the caring system and Elmfield House itself. However, one thing will never change, is the ethos to create a ‘home from home’ environment, where residents feel safe, secure and valued, just as they would in their own home.

Independence is promoted and encouraged. Residents are involved in making as many decisions for themselves as possible. Every resident is always provided and cared for with his or her individual needs in mind. This personalised bespoke care is what makes Elmfield House different from all other care homes.

I cannot offer enough praise for the staff and care at Elmfield House. My mum is very settled and happy and shares a wonderful relationship with the staff. Mum really enjoys the outings and activities, and she has joined in with so many. I love to see the updates on social media. The manager and staff
keep me very well informed of what's going on for and with my mother. I am very grateful for all they do for her.

Mum has been a resident for nine months and we have been very happy and content we cannot fault the staff, management, food, care or mum's treatment. The home is small but lovely because of that.

I regularly visit my mum at Elmfield and I am always amazed by how well cared for she is. The staff go above and beyond expectations daily from the manager to all the staff of every department. The food is wonderful and the home always smells of homemade cooking. There are always activities and outings
within the home and my mum loves to join in. I can see what is going on by checking social media. Mum always looks well-presented. She is very happy as are the whole family.

We are very pleased that mum is in Elmfield. We can be assured that she is well looked after 24/7. Without exception, all the staff provided excellent care. Elmfield is warm and welcoming with all staff greeting you as a visitor by name and able to update on mum's condition.

I was impressed by all of the smiling and happy residents and staff.
My auntie is so happy at the home, it gives me great peace of mind she is being looked after in a family-orientated, caring environment.
She also loves all of the activities they arrange at the home.

We are still so happy with how Elmfield House caters for Dad. He is very happy and settled, which in turn has reduced our anxiety. We see him regularly participating in the daily activities and it is lovely to see him smiling all the time. We absolutely love Elmfield House and the staff are truly wonderful.
They are always on hand to assist and they all know dad very well. A remarkable care home. The newsletter every month is very detailed and keeps us updated on everything that is happening at Elmfield House. We could not ask for any more!

From the moment I walked into Elmfield, I felt like it was home. All the staff are so friendly and seem to know my mum so well. They all take the time to sit and talk to all the residents. The communication is excellent. The manager really knows her stuff.

Excellent care. Staff are professional, kind, and patient. Very well managed by the manager. Elmfield House engages residents and upholds their dignity and ensures that they live a full life. My mother has been a resident at Elmfield for about a year. Our family could not be more pleased with the care our mother has received during this time. It was a difficult decision to put Mum in a care home, however, we knew it would be the safest option. From the moment we visited Elmfirled we got a good feeling. The manager really knows her stuff and she and her staff treat all the residents with compassion and respect. We couldn't be happier and

Our 97-year-old Aunt recently moved into Elmfield under the careful and caring management of the Care Home Manager. Although our Aunt has been a resident at Elmfield for only a few weeks so far, the family have been very impressed with not only how personable the staff are at Elmfield but how efficient
and kind the Manager is. She couldn't have been more helpful to us in the few weeks before our Aunt arrived and now that Aunt is fully settled in, we are delighted with our choice of Elmfield. Fellow residents are friendly and give the impression of being very happy at Elmfield; the Manager and her team certainly provide the promised independence to our Aunt and peace of mind to the family. Strongly recommended.

My dad has been at Elmfield for over a year now. We are delighted with the care he receives and how well he looks. He has settled in very well. A truly wonderful care home that is a home from home for us. The staff are lovely and the manager will always go the extra mile to keep us informed about how dad is doing. Niccii

Niccii Gillett

Job Title: Registered Manager Joined: 2014

Our Registered Manager at Elmfield House is Miss Niccii Gillett. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience having worked in Health and Social Care for over 21 years. Niccii has been our Registered Manager for over 7 years now and is a long standing member of the team. Niccii has a Level 7 QCF in Health and Social Care Management and she oversees a Senior Care Team who are all trained to at least Level 3 QCF/NVQ standard in HSC.


Since taking over as Manager of Elmfield House in 2014 Niccii has made made significant changes and created and introduced documentation to ensure full regulatory compliance. Niccii has maintained five 'goods' in all of our CQC inspections and in our last inspection in 2019, the lead inspector encouraged Niccii to appeal for 'Outstanding' ratings in the Well led and Caring KLOEs.


Niccii has excelled in creating meaningful relationships within the village of Bisley, making Elmfield House an integral and much-loved part of our community. Niccii was voted for Business Person of the Year award in our village. in 2020. Sadly, due to Covid 19 restrictions, the event did not go ahead. Niccii has enhanced the reputation and profile of Elmfield House making the home known to be one of the best in the area amongst healthcare professionals and the Local Authorities. This was done by showcasing the changes, improvements and success stories. She project managed increasing the occupancy of the care home in 2014. The home was still being lived in by our residents during this time and this required precision planning and excellent communication skills between all involved.
