My dad has been at Abingdon Park View since April 2025. He has presented staff with many challenges, yet all the staff we have encountered have been incredibly patient and understanding. My dad relates well with the staff most of the time. The manager, Sarah, has gone above and beyond to accommodate
my dad, despite the challenges and demonstrates an in-depth understanding of his needs that we have not encountered in previous care homes.

My mum has been a resident at Abington Park View for four and a half years, and I can't imagine anywhere better for her needs. Choosing the right care home wasn't something we took lightly. We visited more than ten different places before making our decision. Abington Park View stood out from the start.
The manager, clearly explained how they care for dementia residents, putting their needs first, and we could see what a great team she had put in place. We've had absolutely no regrets about our choice. The home is run brilliantly, with plenty of activities and regular visitors coming in to keep everyone engaged. The staff truly go above and beyond. You can tell they care. Every time we visit, we're made to feel welcome, and that's much appreciated. What is vital is that they really listen. If we ever think Mum needs something or have any concerns, they take our views on board straightaway. It's such a friendly place with a real community feel. Honestly, I can't think of a better
Reply from Sarah Copeman, Manager at Abington Park View Care HomeThank you M J for your lovely review of Abington Park View. We are delighted to also read that you are always made to feel welcomed and it is always lovely to see you visit. Lovely home, staff are really caring. Enjoy visiting my friend who I used to work with and usually stay for a couple of hours as staff are so welcoming. At the moment they are enlarging the building and it will be twice the size it was when my mother was a resident. Some of the staff are still here
from when my mum was here, and that was years ago (about 15 years ago). Would really recommend this home.

We couldn't be happier with the care our dad receives at Three Rivers Care Home. From the moment he moved in, we felt reassured by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The carers are genuinely nice, compassionate, and always take the time to chat and make residents feel valued. It's clear they treat everyone
with dignity and respect. The food is fantastic-fresh, varied, and nutritious. Dad often tells us how much he enjoys mealtimes, and it's comforting to know he's eating so well. The kitchen staff even accommodate his dietary preferences without any fuss. The home itself is always spotlessly clean, with a lovely, homely feel. The rooms are well-maintained and the communal areas are bright and cheerful. Most importantly, we've seen a real improvement in Dad's mood and overall well-being since moving in. We're so grateful to the team at Three Rivers for the outstanding care they provide.
