The staff were very helpful and friendly and were quick to come if she pressed the call button.
My mother usually ate her meals in her room due to mobility issues and enjoyed the meals despite feeling that they weren’t quite hot enough sometimes.
A good experience for us as a family in this new venture of being in a care home.
I couldn’t be happier with Nan's care she is always well presented they ensure they put her jewellery on and she always looks lovely, the carers and other staff are all so warm and friendly and take the time to join in with the activities, listra was up dancing with Nan today! So lovely to see. Thank you for looking after her so well.
The staff (all of them) are brilliant and so caring.
It is always immaculate.
We were particularly pleased with the care and respect from the individual carers. My father said how kind all the staff had been. He also loved the food.
The care and support provided at Ridgemount for my mother has been excellent. The enthusiasm of the staff in assessing and then welcoming my mother to the care home was great to see and provided confidence that Mum would be well cared for in Ridgemount. This confidence was confirmed by the caring staff during her stay in the home. Unfortunately, my mother aged 92 died due to frailty of old age in the care home this month. The support that both my mother and I received during this sad time was very good. Thank you to all your staff.
My mum has lived at Ridgemount for over a year. During this time, she has improved in terms of eating and drinking regularly (she has gained much needed weight) and seems more engaged and happy. The staff are lovely and really look after the residents. They like my mum as she loves to chat and she is more like her normal cheeky self, thriving having company and people to talk to.
My weeks respite stay at Ridgemount was very happy. The carers were very kind and helpful and always responded to the button being pushed in less than 2 minutes. The food was good and I was given hot drinks whenever I wanted them. My room and ensuite were comfortable. There were church services in the home and music and entertainment most days.
Such a lovely home for my Nan. Staff always happy and so very caring. I popped in when they had a singer, that came for the Valentines event. He was amazing. My nan was up dancing and singing with staff and other residents.
He had a good experience and, if needed, I would certainly use this care home again.
My sister arrived at Ridgemeount very anxious and apprehensive. The friendly and devoted staff greeted her and within a short space of time, she settled into the place she now calls home. All the staff go that extra mile to ensure your needs are met and you are happy. Her room was lovely and clean and the food served is excellent. There is nothing more she could wish for. Thank you everyone for an excellent job well done.
We first visited Ridgemount with Mum in January 2020 and as soon as we walked through their doors I knew this would be perfect for Mum. Everyone is so friendly, the facilities are modern, the rooms are clean, spacious and bright and the building itself is surrounded by beautiful gardens. The staff are exceptional, always welcoming, kind, understanding and compassionate. They went above and beyond to keep Mum safe and happy throughout the Pandemic and they continue to provide the highest level of care. I simply cannot recommend Ridgemount highly enough.
Since my Great Nan moved into Ridgemount I have only seen smiles and laughter. Lovely staff assist Nanny, she enjoys going to the musical entertainers and having her hair done. I could not have hoped for a better home for her.
My wife's ensuite room is ideal; light and airy, plenty of space and well furnished - and she's allowed to hang photos on the walls. My concern was that she may be upset or react at being in a place other than her own home. I need not have worried. There's always a positive reaction when I visit her and no sadness when I leave. She is happy, contented and well looked after by staff who listen to her and what she wants - the staff connect so well with the residents. She has quickly made it her own home. I am happy.
The rooms, communal spaces and even the garden are kept to a very high standard. My mother says it is the best thing that happened when she moved into care and that makes me happy that she is so happy.
My friend is 97 so she is quite frail but she enjoys having a visitor and it was good to be able to chat in her room. We were given a cup of tea and the carers were all very friendly and helpful. My friend will be pleased when it is possible to have activities again and especially singers.
Thank you for taking the time to review Ridgemount, and we are pleased that you rate our care and support as excellent. We appreciate your feedback regarding our activities. We are currently looking into developing our daily, weekly and monthly activities programmes with our residents' input and will be encouraging residents to participate.
Very efficient and well thought out procedures. Staff were normally careful and caring. Sometimes night staff could be abrupt. I would like staff to be more interactive in who we were, why we are here and talk to us a little more. Soup was always very tasty.
Thank you for taking the time to review Ridgemount, and we are pleased that you rate our facilities as excellent. We appreciate your feedback, and we will look into the issue regarding our night staff moving forward. Regarding our activities, we have a daily, weekly and monthly activities...
After researching many care homes I am so glad that we chose Ridgemount. The care staff are a credit to Ridgemount, and they gave my father wonderful care right up to the end. A fabulous clean bright home. The room was delightful and the home-cooked food amazing. And yet very reasonable prices. I can't fault this company. They have worked hard through difficult times and I would recommend them to anyone who needs care. Beautiful gardens, easy parking and lovely staff so look no further; probably the best care home in Surrey.
I have always found the home and staff to be of exceptional quality, the home is always clean and tidy, the staff are always friendly and very caring, they are very professional and treat the residents with respect and always have time to chat. My mother has been a resident since February 2015 and suffering from dementia, she needed and got the care she required and was always treated like a human being. The information and contact with the home is a great help and comfort. Being her son and living 170 miles away and due to illness myself, I am unable to visit very often. I am kept informed as to Mum's health and wellbeing as she is totally unable to contact me herself. When I do visit I am always greeted with a smile and recognised and my Christian name used. Also, due to the care and attention and by a controlled diet of the right foods they have managed to eliminate the need for my mother to take tablets to control her diabetes.
Keep up the good work, we are so grateful.
