The staff are always friendly and willing to go out of their way to help. The covid restrictions have obviously made things very difficult for all, but any requests I have are dealt with quickly and when I go to visit my mother the staff working with her are always attentive and caring.

Always friendly, helpful staff who care about my mother. Despite the most difficult year and my mother only recently becoming a resident before COVID, the staff have done an amazing job to keep residents as well as they could. The carers in the UK have been underestimated. Limegrove staff have gone the extra mile.

I have found Limegrove to have a happy atmosphere, a sense of 'family' where laughter and compassion are demonstrated on a daily basis. My (rather difficult!) mother has settled in well and is no longer fearful, despite the confusion arising from her condition. Her health has improved since she arrived.

I should be pleased if you would pass on my thanks to all concerned for looking after my husband so well. He always looks immaculate and has settled in very well. The staff are always so friendly and helpful and provide the best possible care that I could wish for.

A truly wonderful and extremely caring environment. My mother had three 'bonus' years here which was down to the exceptional staff who looked after her. I have marked the home faithfully as 'excellent' throughout. The only mark that only scored 'good' was the activities. The activities were first-class when dedicated members of staff were assigned to these tasks. This has suffered a little due to the new working methods. A brilliant home - which I would have no hesitation in recommending. Thank you Limegrove.

Over a time span of a week recently my father lost mobility and became quite dependent on others for all his daily activities. The superb staff acted promptly in discussing a care plan with me and notifying the GP. A physio also came in to assess him and formulate a mobility plan. As an independent professional she commented to me how impressed she was with the staff in the home and how dedicated, caring and efficient they were. She said how lucky I must feel to have my relative living there and how it must being peace of mind that he was so well cared for. I totally agree with her. My father adores the staff who care for him and they have become extended family to him and very important in his life. I do have peace of mind and am forever grateful that following a respite stay there he decided he did not want to go home but make Limegrove his home for life.

I visited my Dad during a week of the COVID outbreak. The visit was very well organised and the safety of everyone was secured. My dad was well prepared for the visit and was brought to the garden in a caring and dignified way. Although he was confused, his carer was extremely reassuring and was able to ensure he stayed calm and de-stressed. I was so impressed by the attention and love she gave him in an extremely difficult context. Limegrove has proved to be an excellent place for my dad to spend his final years. It is comforting and reassuring to know he is so well cared for.

Limegrove is such a lovely care home and made so by all the friendly and committed staff. My father has settled in very well and is very happy. I find this care home really good for its residents and even for family visiting. I never feel like I've been to a care home but rather a family member's house as we are always made to feel so welcome. The place is always immaculately clean and always someone at hand to help. Thanks so much to team Limegrove for making so many people happy and being the best home out there.

Bless you all.

Very friendly welcoming home. Always easy to locate a member of staff. All the staff is very helpful. Interior bright and cheerful with lovely pictures and ornaments. Homely atmosphere with something always going on i.e entertainments etc.

The staff know the patient's names and have a caring attitude. I have not been there at mealtimes but gather that the food is good.

My mother was a resident at Limegrove care home in East Horsley from 2017-2019 and the staff looked after her with care and dignity right up until the end. They treated our family with great kindness allowing us to stay with our mother in her final days. We are extremely grateful to the team at Limegrove for their compassion and kindness.

My Mother sadly has had to go to another care home with nursing as she now has zero mobility and Limegrove could not accommodate her medical needs any longer.

As we live in the USA you cannot just "pop" in for a visit, therefore, having to rely on the telephone and the willingness of the staff there to facilitate this.

I came back in March of this year and noticed immediately how adapted my mother had become and, on some days chose the activities over spending time with me and of course this is exactly what you hoped for!

The care home manager and his team I truly cannot fault in any way at all and would love to mention them all by name but the review sadly does not allow for this but for any of the staff that read this, a huge thank you to you all from myself, my wife and daughter and I know also from mum.

Food is a bit dull and uninspiring. The rooms are a bit worn and in need of redecoration. The staff are very caring and treat the residents with respect and affection. The activities have improved immensely in recent months. Some agency staff still don't have name tags.

Limegrove is situated in beautiful countryside but only 5 minutes walk to local shops, a bowling green with seats around, a community centre and a church. I came here suffering from terrible depression, but within a week I knew this is where I wanted to be. Every week we have a minibus trip, a quiz, seated exercise and various crafts. For those who sadly are unable to enjoy these things, our carers are there to attend to their needs. They do an excellent job. This is a happy, cosy home. I love it.

When I have visited the staff have been most helpful. I had lunch with my mother recently and this was most acceptable. Staff were doing their best in difficult circumstances.

My husband comes occasionally for respite, one week at a time, provided by social services.

It gives me a much needed break. All the staff welcome my husband on each visit and look after him well.

Left my mother with a certain amount of trepidation for a period of respite. First time ever and needn't have worried at all. From the moment we arrived, she was treated with courtesy and kindness from every member of staff we encountered. The home appears to be a happy place for both staff and residents. Surroundings are comfortable and immaculately clean. My Mum has some dementia but she said the food was excellent and the care staff were so good to her. Lots of activities going on for those who wish to participate but others are welcome to watch. So thank you to everyone who looked after her and see you in the New Year.
