Could not ask for a better home for Auntie. Staff very helpful and friendly. A pleasure to visit Auntie in such a caring place. We are very happy knowing that we made a good choice for her.
Mum has been cared for with expertise and kindness. I have been impressed with the level of support and genuine concern. Thank you for all your help and support.
Mum was there for about 18 months in all. At first, it was strange for Mum but she soon settled in and made friends. The staff were so welcoming and made Mum feel at home from the start. Mum had a good laugh and was a real character. The home is always spotless, lovely, great food, caring staff and welcoming. The refurb looks great, residents say it looks lovely, nice and bright, that's important. I visited Mum 2-3 times a week. Mum was always clean, well dressed, happy and well fed. We always had a laugh with the staff and I always felt part of their family. Friends and family visited Mum and had great things to say about the place, we all knew Mum was in great hands. Peace of mind meant the world to us all. Towards the end, the staff were just amazing, so loving, caring and supportive, just going the extra mile for us all. I cried and they cried (my Mum was their Mum) that's how I felt. Staff came to Mum's send off. That says so much. A genuine, caring, wonderful, dedicated team. You don't often find that in a home. 10/10
My sister who is a resident is comfortable and well cared for in the unit. She is satisfied with the people who care for her. I am pleased that the people who care for her are happy and do have an interest in her care and her being happy.
My aunt has been very well looked after at Linden House. Her bedroom overlooks the garden which she enjoys. The staff are very friendly and kind to her. She is safe and feels at home and I'm happy because she is happy.
My aunt has been comfortable and has stayed at Linden House for over 2 years. The staff are polite and kind to her and support her comprehensively.
My mother has been resident for 3 and a half years and in that time, has been very well cared for and seems happy with life here. Originally, we looked around many residential care homes and chose Linden House for its all-around friendliness, clean appearance and value for money. Since then, we have not been disappointed. Despite the frequent staff changes, the level of care has been consistently high.
Ten out of ten for me. So good with my mum, the care package is perfect, my mum is very settled and that takes a lot of time, effort and hard work. The team at Linden House should be very proud of themselves.
Good - interesting people, nice surroundings and good food.
Since my father died, the home helped mum come to terms with his loss. They have spent time talking to her about dad and keeping her busy so she does not get upset.
Her general care continues to be good.
To a younger person living independently, a care home is a daunting environment but to the residents who need the care, it is a lifestyle that they come to accept and probably enjoy. I offer my highest praise for the professionalism of the management and staff at Linden House and my thanks for the excellent care they provided for my mother.
My grandmother has recently moved in and has settled brilliantly due to the excellent care, particularly allowing her independence of choice etc. They have been so welcoming to her and to us as a family - best decision we ever made!
Mum receives very good care.
I'm very happy with Linden House. The staff are very nice and kind to me. The food is good.
She stayed at Linden House for two weeks and (in her own words) was looked after superbly.
Evidently, the food is also better than my own home cooking and she is already looking forward to her next stay!
I think that we were incredibly lucky to find this lovely home with such kind and caring staff.
We have no connection whatsoever with Linden House and the opinions shown are genuinely felt.
My wife did not wish to take part in any of the activities hence the 'don't know' opinion to that question.
After visiting early one morning we found our relative in a worrying predicament, she was laying in a pool of urine. This was left by the night staff. The day staff and deputy manager quickly cleaned her and dealt with the issue concerningly and professionally and dealing with the staff concerned. We were quite happy with this.
Very helpful friendly staff who are always supportive and keep me informed.
I enjoy the meals here.
My mother has gone into the home this week. The management has been excellent and has done everything possible to make things as easy as possible. My mum's room is very comfortable and she tells me that she is being well looked after and that the food is very nice. So our first impressions are very good. We hope in the coming weeks that she will be able to join in with activities etc.
My husband was hospitalised following a fall at home. He then entered this care home and has been here for about two months. He is very well looked after. The staff are friendly and kind, I visit regularly with a small dog! And I am always made to feel welcome.

Meet the Team (1)

I joined Linden House in 2016 as a care assistant, and for the past nine years I’ve had the privilege of working alongside an exceptional team. Though Linden House is a small home, it is one where consistency, compassion, and exceptional quality of care truly matter. We are committed to a gold-standard framework that ensures every resident feels safe, supported, and genuinely loved.
Having worked in every role throughout my time here, I now step into management with a deep, firsthand understanding of what it truly takes to serve our residents well. This experience allows me to lead with insight, empathy, and a clear vision of how to uphold the highest standards of care.
Alongside my work at Linden House, I am also currently pursuing my nursing qualification, further strengthening my ability to provide the very best for those who call our home theirs.
