Anchor’s Oakleigh is located at the heart of Godstone, close to green spaces. The home provides friendly and comfortable residential and dementia care for up to 51 residents in single en suite rooms and continues to welcome new residents.

The dedicated care team takes the time to get to know the individual and work with them, and their loved ones, to create detailed care plans to ensure their care needs are continually met.

Oakleigh provides on-going training to ensure their approach is best for residents living with dementia. They work hard to get to know customers, build relationships and ensure all aspects of the services provided are focused on individual and compassionate care.

I think that Oakleigh is a wonderful home. Very friendly staff, as soon as you walk in the door, you are greeted by a great lady on reception. She's always very helpful. I would highly recommend Oakleigh.

My Mum has been at Oakleigh for a year. She is so well cared for in every way and we are so pleased and relieved with the care and service provided. My mother has been a resident at Oakleigh for 6 1/2 years and in all that time she has had excellent facilities and staff looking after her. My wife and I have visited without prior notice many times and have always found her well dressed, her room and wardrobe neat and tidy and clean and if at mealtimes,
the dining room pleasantly arranged and food well produced. The staff have always been very welcoming to us and treat my mother as if she were their own. I can only say thank you to them all and its so reassuring because we live so far away.

All the staff at Oakleigh are very kind, courteous and extremely professional. How they do what they do and remain so cheerful is a mystery to me. I am not easily pleased by people in life, but Oakleigh staff have been brilliant. I feel much better knowing my parents are getting 24-hour care. They are

I went into Oakleigh. I'm respite - self funded. I had a shock, never been into Oakleigh before. I had 3 lovely weeks with them all. Lovely staff, food etc. Was treated with such respect and felt as if I had found some friends. I am 90 years old. I want to go back as a resident but unfortunately, at
the moment, unable to afford it, which is a shame.
I came out feeling a lot better health-wise and also trying to understand other problems.

The staff try hard to meet needs of residents, maintain a cheerful outlook and are welcoming to visitors.
Recruitment in this field is not easy and the home struggle to keep a full staff compliment. The service can sometimes feel stretched.
Standard of cleaning is good and food is reasonable.
My
mum is happy there and staff genuinely seem to value her.

My dad is now in his early nineties and, until a recent hospital stay, was totally independent. Sadly, he could not return home, but his move into Oakleigh was made very easy for him due to the friendly staff and the bright and homely accommodation. He has settled in very well and enjoys the food. This
all adds up to great peace of mind for his family. The home always seems to be well run and safety conscious.

The staff at the home are very friendly and welcoming. The new manager has been appointed and was already the deputy manager so there is continuity which I am very pleased about. All the residents seem happy and contented and my father is very settled there now.

My mother is 95 and has been resident at Oakley for 3 1/2 years. We chose Oakley as it was near her home of 6 generations that we had to sell for her care. It was homely and the staff warm. We have no complaints concerning her care. She is wheelchair bound and incontinent which must cause her carers
extra work. They are respectful and helpful. In particular, a gentleman who was her main carer was outstanding. Our visits are always welcomed and staff open to discussion re my mum. We are always informed and even minor incidents regarding her care and our minds put at ease. Sadly we didn't get our usual invite to the Christmas bash which we have always enjoyed. She loves her painting class.

I would like to say how my mother in law enjoyed her stay for the week she was with Oakleigh. All the staff on the top floor were absolutely amazing, when my mother in law first came she was very anxious, and the team really settled her down and made her stay very enjoyable, I can not thank everyone

I stayed for respite, it was my first time in a care home and was very anxious. The staff put me at ease and made my stay enjoyable.
I felt the staff needed more training on how to support someone who is physically disabled. The food could be improved as it was lukewarm. The staff were very helpful.

We had to put my mum into Oakleigh in Godstone Surrey. She was so distressed, anxious and disorientated. Now in the 7 months since she went to live there, she is happy, settled and contented which is something I never thought she would be again. She is cared for, looked after and above all, happy. She

Oakleigh care home has given my mother a home, a family environment and dedicated care from a well-managed staff.
Christmas was wonderful. The atmosphere was great, the staff have a way of caring for individuals needs. I never thought I could leave my mother in other people's care.

My husband has been resident in Oakleigh Care Home for over two years and has been generally content and well cared for.
I have bought a house only ten minutes walk away and can now visit him on a daily basis so have come to know the staff and organisational structures fairly well.
I have always
found the rooms clean and odourless and staff most helpful and friendly despite poor organisational management. The decor needs improving!
