Overall Experience

My mother stayed in The Royal Cambridge Home for nearly 3 weeks for respite care. She is 93 and of fragile health. She was looked after with exceptional kindness at the home and thoroughly enjoyed her stay. She loved the staff, food, activities and joining the other residents in their everyday lives. The staff treated the residents with great compassion and care. Our family are very grateful for giving my mother such an enjoyable visit where she was safe and cared for so well.

Overall Experience

Mum has been a resident at the home for nearly 9 years and there have been many changes during that time. The home offers it's residents a 'home from home' as far as possible and mum came to think of it as home and the staff, family. The staff are caring across the board including the cleaning, catering and auxiliaries and over the years have become a little like family to us too. Mum is sadly now receiving end of life care, however, I can't think of anywhere I would rather her be. She is treated in a caring, gentle and kind way with dignity.
