Shannon Court is a renovated Edwardian country home located in pleasant woodland in Hindhead, Surrey. The Home is close to the South Downs with its breath-taking areas of outstanding natural beauty. The grounds are laid out for the enjoyment of residents, with a woodland walk, ornamental fishpond and sensory garden.

They provide residential care and residential dementia support for up to 53 residents.

I am extremely happy with the care my mother has received at Shannon Court and especially at this challenging time. I have just visited my mother for the first time in many months and the new purpose built visiting room is amazing! A lot of care and thought has gone into the making and presentation
of this room. It's very cosy and welcoming.

I have been asked to comment on the new facilities made for visiting during COVID. The organisation is extremely good, the room and facilities very good. Restricted visits to 1 hour is sad as I have 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hr journey to visit my father. Staff are very kind, friendly and helpful.

My wife stayed in Shannon Court from Feburary 2019 till her death on April 19th 2020, when she died of dementia/Alzheimer's, thank goodness not the COVID-19 virus. I would like to say the staff at Shannon Court, right from the person doing the cleaning up to the managing director were very kind and
helpful. Nothing was to much trouble for them. The premises were very clean. I am very happy to recommend Shannon Court.

Since my mother's recent death, I have received condolence cards and letters from her friends commenting that she'd told them how happy she was at Shannon Court and how well she was treated. I know that she was particularly impressed with the attitude of all the staff in that it was their job to ensure
she was happy and doing what she wanted. Nothing was too much trouble, no matter how busy they were, and a cross word was never spoken by any staff towards her even when she had an accident, it was just quietly and calmly dealt with. She was always treated with such kindness and respect and I am so glad my parents moved into Shannon Court, I couldn't have hoped for anywhere better.

This is an extremely well managed and friendly facility. The management and staff are all welcoming, friendly and well trained. The rooms, corridors and common areas are always clean and tidy. All residents are treated with care and with respect. The residents seem to be content.

I love this home - I'd move in myself. The staff are warm, friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. When I've been concerned about Dad's health, they have responded quickly and efficiently, explaining to me what they have put in play and why. Residents are visibly cared for and treated
well. Their individual likes and dislikes are always remembered and respect is obvious. I can't speak highly enough of all the staff. Management are organised, firm but fair.

Mum is treated with dignity and always has been.
The staff are all very caring. Mum is in the Alvernia Wing - the rooms are dark but OK. However, the wing itself is excellent. There is an internal corridor that residents can walk around. Plus 2 gardens. In the summer, the doors are opened to the gardens
and the residents often sit outside.

There is a very happy atmosphere at Shannon Court. The staff are always very friendly and extremely helpful. My grandmother's room and the public areas are always clean and tidy. I know my grandmother is very happy at Shannon Court and I enjoy visiting her there.

What makes Shannon Court is the caring attitude of all the staff, from the cleaners, catering staff, admin staff, maintenance and, of course, the carers. They all play a part in making it a true "home". I feel confident in the care my Mother receives from them all and am more than happy for her to

Members of Spring Park Lodge No. 5689 attended Shannon Court to present a 70-year certificate to a resident. The staff kept the surprise a secret. The morning went off extremely well. The staff were polite, courteous and very resident attentive. I can only give praise on all the staff and Shannon Court.

The kindness and support we have had from the staff at Shannon Court has been outstanding over the past five months since my parents have become residents.
The week before Christmas this was highlighted when the management and staff organised for my mother to be transported in their own vehicle to
my home on Christmas Day and Boxing Day to celebrate with the family. We have had a tough year losing my father three months ago but their kindness and support has been so overwhelming.

On our visit, we were welcomed warmly by staff - reception staff and carers. We were included with a charity coffee morning, the residents were relaxed and clearly enjoying the atmosphere. Everyone was encouraged to join in and the individual needs and requests of the residents and us as visitors were

My mother has been in this home since February 2015. During this time the staff have been very attentive, giving her a good quality of life. The home is very clean and well run.
I would not hesitate to recommend the home to anyone.

Firstly the way the home is laid out is very good and practical.
My father is on Davis Ward.
During my father's time here the staff have been exemplary.
All residents are clean and tidy.
The attention to each patient is excellent.
I have been so impressed by the staff's patience and kindness.
Also
their innate common sense.
I was extremely anxious at first but cannot praise the staff enough.

I joined RMBI Care Co. in 2018 and currently I am overseeing Shannon Court as Business Manager.


As an experienced senior manager, my forward thinking and proactive approach has resulted in me delivering on major projects and service transformations within the adult care sector.


My excellent communication and networking skills have provided my services with the ability to transform and modernise services for the future, and my relationships with other organisations and providers of services has enabled me to deliver service improvements. My ability to think outside the box has helped me to shape new and innovative services that create real benefits to the people using them.


In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my children. I also like scuba diving and recreational cycling in the local area. I am a passionate gardener and, as I am actively involved with the community, I am a school governor and have been coaching the football team for the local club for a number of years.
