Nothing seems to be too much trouble for our friend. A friend and myself visit every week and there is always someone popping in to the room to bring drinks or check menu choices, which are always adapted to suit. Our friend never complains about the home and is always speaking highly of the staff and care.

We needed respite care at short notice, and Prince Philip Court were able to accommodate this within five days of our initial contact.
Dad was made to feel welcome from his first visit, to the day he returned home. He settled quickly with the help of the amazing staff who all got to know him, and encouraged him to join the various activities that were on each day.

With a few favourite items from home, Prince Philip Court was his new home for eight weeks; the food was good, he had a hair cut, and was looked after by a local doctor. The staff encouraged him to walk everyday, helped accommodate a new power chair and his new found independence.

My mum in law has been in here since November 24, can not fault the home , care etc, in fact she has improved so much from when she was living alone. Her diabetes has reversed , all due to the regular care she is given, the care is amazing and the cleaning is 100% as a former carer I know what I am looking out for and I can't fault it . Mum took time to settle (understandable) but the staff have helped so much in making this happen.
Thank you so much

Alison

I am a regular visitor to Scarbrough Court. I find all members of staff to be very professional and more than helpful. Nothing is too much bother for them. The residents rooms are always clean and tidy. The person I visit would rather be in her own home, however she realises that this is now not possible and is more than happy to be in a 'home from home' at Scarbrough Court. It is a credit to all staff.

Our mam has been living in the nursing wing of Scarbrough Court since January, and we cannot speak highly enough of the care and support she has received during this time. From the nursing care to the holistic support provided for her emotional and personal wellbeing, the team at Scarbrough Court have consistently delivered. This has given us an enormous sense of reassurance and peace of mind, knowing that Mam is safe, happy and being cared for in such a compassionate and professional environment. The professionalism of all the staff is evident on a daily basis. Mam has experienced some medical issues during her time at Scarbrough Court, and on every occasion these have been dealt with promptly, appropriately and with great care. Communication has been excellent, I have been kept fully informed and updated throughout. I honestly cannot speak highly enough of our experience at Scarbrough Court. We are incredibly grateful to every member of staff for everything they do.

My dad Davy is on the residential unit in this carehome, he has been here for 6 years now, this home has everything any resident requires for a new residence to live. From the moment you walk in the reception staff are on hand to greet and help you, the care staff on both the nursing unit and upstairs on the residential unit ( my dad was on here before moving downstairs ) are all worth their weight in gold. They provide love and care to each and every resident. They make sure each resident is happy, safe, and content. The nurses on the nursing unit are all diamonds, they provide my dad with high standards care, they keep me informed on his health on a weekly basis ( more should i ask ) any issues that pop up are always rectified at the first instance and kept me in the loop at all times. The activities co-ordinators are great aswell, there is always something to get involved in should you wish to, indoor and outdoor activitys, and outings in the community. Great management aswell.

Dear Shelley and all the wonderful staff, When my mum broke her back, she urgently needed a safe place to rest and heal. From our very first talk with Shelley, we felt completely reassured and knew we could trust you with her care. During her 6-week stay, mum was looked after so well. Every single member of the team was kind, positive, helpful, and supportive. Because of your hard work and gentle care, Mum was able to repair and return home feeling much stronger. We are so grateful to you all. Thank you for everything you did for Mum and our family. With warmest wishes, The Warren Family

My Grandad stays at this care home and he couldn't be in a better place. He's so well looked after and it's clear that every member of staff genuinely cares about the residents. The home itself is lovely, but it's the people who really make the difference. I can't remember everyone's names (sorry!), but every single person we've met has been kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. A special mention to Richard and Stacey who have been fantastic and always go the extra mile for my Grandad. We're always so grateful!!

i recently visited my aunt at Prince George Duke of Kent Court and was so reassured by the experience. As i live in Australia, am not able to visit as often as I would like, so it means a great deal to know my aunt is being cared for so well. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. They made us feel comfortable as visitors and were always happy to assist in any way. What stood out most is how attentive they were to the residents. It was clear they knew each person individually and they treated everyone with kindness, patience and respect.

Scarborough Court is excellent. The whole ambiance is great. The lounges are spacious and light. The staff are friendly and vary caring. My mother's room is quite large, light and cosy. Nothing is a problem for the management to deal with. Staff are helpful and obliging too. Parking is easy and the dining room is large with lots of windows. Music generally is played whilst dining. Choice of food is good and tasty. Very pleased my mother is here, so is she.

Our family is incredibly grateful for the outstanding care my granddad received during his recent two-week respite stay. From the moment he arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable, safe, and right at home.

The standard of care was excellent, and the peace of mind it gave our family was priceless. It is clear that the team here truly cares about their residents. We highly recommend their respite services to any family looking for a supportive and welcoming environment for their loved one.

My Aunt joined Albert Edward in October 2026 and feels like she is in a family. The staff are amazing, responsive to any questions I might have and it is a pleasure to visit her in such a calm and welcoming environment. The gardens are beautiful as is the decor inside. There are many quiet areas to have a coffee and a catch up as well as comfortable communal spaces where residents can mingle. She has particularly enjoyed the activities program which is varied and there is something on twice a day. I would highly recommend to anyone.

A very good home with hard working, caring and friendly staff. Better communication between carers and relatives would be helpful when requesting things on behalf of loved ones as often requests get overlooked and you have to ask a couple of times to get things actioned.
