My Grandad stays at this care home and he couldn't be in a better place. He's so well looked after and it's clear that every member of staff genuinely cares about the residents. The home itself is lovely, but it's the people who really make the difference. I can't remember everyone's names (sorry!), but every single person we've met has been kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. A special mention to Richard and Stacey who have been fantastic and always go the extra mile for my Grandad. We're always so grateful!!

Scarborough Court is excellent. The whole ambiance is great. The lounges are spacious and light. The staff are friendly and vary caring. My mother's room is quite large, light and cosy. Nothing is a problem for the management to deal with. Staff are helpful and obliging too. Parking is easy and the dining room is large with lots of windows. Music generally is played whilst dining. Choice of food is good and tasty. Very pleased my mother is here, so is she.

Exceptionally well run establishment. All staff are professional, kind and caring and go above and beyond. Clinical care nursing manager greeted my husband on arrival with care and dignity and made sure he was settled in nicely. His organisational skills are to be commended as the move from hospital to Scarborough Court went to ease and care.

Mum has been a resident in Scarborough Court for 8 months and she is cared for by truly professional staff who give her the care and personal attention she requires.
The general areas in the home and mums room are clean well maintained.
The residents have excellent selection of activities for them to participate in should they choose.
There is a wide and varied menu on offer which gives mum plenty of choice at meal times which is of good quality. She likes that she is offered fruit with her mid morning refreshment .
I am kept updated with any changes in mum and have access to the staff should I wish to discuss further details with them.

Scarborough Court provided a safe and secure environment for mum and I am grateful that she is in safe hands.

My dad (Derek)has been at Scarbrough Court for 8 months now. It is a beautifully laid out home with excellent caring staff. My father was previously in a hospice before coming here in July 2025. The home is superbly run with great facilities and a home from home feel. The staff are skilled, patient and very attentive. My dad realises he is in a lovely place. My sister and I looked at many homes before choosing this one and we are so pleased we did. Can't rate it highly enough

I hope my final review on Scarbrough Court will give good insight to what a lovely care home this really is. Sadly my mam passed away in September this year after being a long time resident on the nursing floor. Mams final days were truly peaceful..her passing happened quite quickly but I was able to stay with her the whole time..was Imformed with what was happening with mam and in the final hours the support we received as a family was great. .Mam was treated with dignity and respect until the end as she had always been in the 5 n half years being there.
I miss going into the home and chatting to staff about mam and just seeing familiar faces. Everyone of the team work so hard ways with a smile. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anybody who is having to make the decision of placing a family member here. Care is fantastic.

Thankyou again for helping us through this journey xx

I'm truly blown away by the compassion shown by the Nurse Manager at Scarbrough Court. My mam and her best friend (friends for over 70 years) hadn't seen each other in well over a year due to illness and disabilities. The Nurse Manager is going above and beyond to arrange a home visit so they could reunite, hold hands, cry, and share precious time together. This thoughtful gesture will have a huge impact on their mental wellbeing and means the world to me. The care, kindness, and dedication shown here are exceptional. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My dad came to the Hospice on an agreed 'end of life'. Within a week or so we had the call at the hospice to come in through the night to say that his breathing had changed. However he bounced back to us due to the stimuli, care and simply feeling valued, he was no longer bed number 7, but was him as a person. So our dilemma began. He was no longer perceived at 'end of days so could not stay there as normal, so, unfortunately he had to move on.
My brother and I searched many, many nursing homes to try and emulate his time in the hospice as we knew it worked and couldn't find one! Our quest became a little helpless and I was seriously concerned he would decline rapidly as he did in hospital before the hospice.
Then Scarbrough Court happened. I could not recommend this home more! They worked with us quickly to find out what dad needed (I will give a shout out here to a particular member of staff who made a lot happen quickly)

It's early days, but already they have made it work!

Unfortunately I am unable to return to my own home. Being away from "normality" at any time is not easy but has been helped enormously by the care and respectability I have received from everyone I have had contact with. Without exception every member of staff has gone beyond their line of duty to help not only myself but my family through both the happy and difficult times. I am pleased to be settled in my "new home" and feel proud to say to people that I am a resident with nursing care at Scarbrough Court and here I intend to stay for the rest of my life. Why go to the RITZ when everything is here?!

My mam has been in Scarborough Court for a year now. She really didn't want to be there at first but they have gradually won her over. I would like to thank everyone for making my mother in law and the whole family very welcome. The care my mother in law is getting is brilliant.
