I had the pleasure of my mum staying for respite care and the staff are brilliant.

I found my experience dealing with the staff who were at the home very helpful regarding my friend's ordeal when having to be transferred from another home to Scarborough Court when she was still very poorly. I have seen a great improvement in her health and outlook for her future in this short period of time. I find the staff very pleasant and approachable.

My Mam came to Scarborough Court with ongoing health issues and some traumatic experiences as a consequence. The warm welcome and excellent care, including facilitating faultless medical support from external practitioners ensured her health and well-being improved dramatically. The home is clean and bright with lots of effort invested into the physical, mental, and social care of the residents. Scarborough Court stood out dramatically for me and my family when we were searching for a new home for my Mam to transition to when independent living was no longer viable. The relief to know she was in good hands and would thrive has been immense.

My aunt has been a resident of Scarborough Court for a year now. She has settled in well, thanks to the care staff looking after her. She enjoys the daily activities and the outings, and to see her settled, safe, and comfortable is a pleasure for her family to see. The care staff are welcoming, and honest and keep me informed of my aunt’s progress. I would recommend Scarborough Court, it feels like home and one big family.

My mother has been a resident for eight months and has been made to feel very welcome. It's a home from home and one big happy family. The staff are amazing, so friendly, caring and approachable and it's obvious it's more than just a job for them. They keep the family involved and updated. They listen to the resident's feedback and try new things. They celebrate individuals, and seeing residents enjoying social events is heartwarming. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this setting for a loved one.

Excellent care home with extremely helpful and friendly staff, my mother is looked after very well by all staff members, she is in the nursing unit and the care she receives is excellent, the home has lots of activities so plenty for her to do.

Scarbrough Court is a very welcoming environment, whose management is excellent and the caring is obvious in all of its staff. The activities for residents are superb and families are made so welcome.

My father went into Scarbrough Caret straight from the hospital, and the staff and nurses built up a bond with Dad; they nursed him and cared for him. My dad started to eat properly, drink properly, and picked up so much; he gained weight and eventually got back home to my mother. I really cannot thank Scarbrough Court enough. Amazing.

My husband was admitted to this care home in September after being in three hospitals for six months. I was delighted at how well he settled. All the staff here were friendly and made sure I was informed of everything that happened. He has had a few problems and was taken to the hospital, where he had one or two nights but was happy to be back at Scarbrough Care Home. The last few months, visiting was restricted because of the Winter bugs and Coronavirus, but I was always kept in the picture. I feel happy that he always waves me off happily and he is not clinging to me. Thank you all.

My mam has been a resident for nearly three years and has had several health issues over that time. The most recent and most serious was a bout of flu after Christmas. The care she received was exceptional not only in managing her physical needs but also recognition of her very low mood and depression. Health professionals were called in frequently to check on her progress and I was informed of every development in a timely way. Thankfully she has made a good recovery and the family are very grateful for the part that the management and carers played in that. I can’t thank the staff enough for the care in the true sense of the word that they provide.

Over the last two years and over the difficult period in those two years, the home has proved to be safe and reliable in caring for my father.

On the 26th of September, my father went into Scarbrough Court care home. Previously he had been in another care home; he was never motivated, he lay in bed all day, and he was depressed. Since moving into Scarbrough Court, he is a different person. He has his meals in the dining room, he meets other residents, and the staff are very caring. He's very happy now, which makes me happy. It's a lovely home.

Would recommend it without reservation!

As always, my visit to Scarbrough Court was perfect. A very friendly and warm welcome at reception. Staff also very helpful and forthcoming with updates in relation to my mum's health and the current situation regarding visiting.

Every time I visit my mum, I'm well looked after. All staff are lovely and polite. They go out of their way to help.
