My mother was cared for at Prince George Duke of Kent for the last year of her life and I cannot recommend the home highly enough. The staff, from the manager and across all aspects of the home are exceptionally caring and professional. Mum felt genuinely loved and well looked after. The standard of activities and trips to keep residents engaged is exceptional. There is a genuine sense of warmth and giving from the carers and staff, as well as a professionalism and excellent standard of nursing.

As the daughter in law of a resident at the Prince George Duke of Kent Court carehome I feel it is vital to say just how wonderful the staff there have been in the year in which my mother in law was a living there. Their care, attention, compassion and professional excellence was exemplary. They went above and beyond simple duty to make her a part of a wonderful family and we will be eternally grateful for their exceptional kindness.

i recently visited my aunt at Prince George Duke of Kent Court and was so reassured by the experience. As i live in Australia, am not able to visit as often as I would like, so it means a great deal to know my aunt is being cared for so well. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. They made us feel comfortable as visitors and were always happy to assist in any way. What stood out most is how attentive they were to the residents. It was clear they knew each person individually and they treated everyone with kindness, patience and respect.

My dad was cared for at Prince George Duke of Kent Court for only 9 days. He declined rapidly and we lost him too soon. I cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness, compassion and support during this very difficult time. Nothing was too much and the inclusivity for family is second to none. In another life I know my dad would have been happy and comfortable in their care. Thank you all for everything you did

From the moment I first came into Prince George I knew this was the place I wanted my mother to stay in and my instincts were absolutely correct. The place had a very positive atmosphere and from the outset the staff were friendly and caring. The layout of the home is excellent with the residents rooms looking out onto the gardens. The communal rooms are large and well-equiped.

One of the most outstanding things about the home along with the level of care and nursing to the residents is the quality of activities and entertainment. There always seems to be something going on and trips out, for those feeling up to an excursion. Relatives and friends are always welcomed and encouraged to come along and enjoy the entertainments with the residents.

My mother seems very happy there and has made some friends so she has company. I feel very secure in the knowledge that she is well cared for, happy and safe.

I could not have asked for better service during a difficult period.

My Mother-In-Law was a resident for 2 1/2 years. She started as an able wheelchair user through to her death, Nov 25. Throughout her stay, she was only ever met with kindness and care (Even if she didn't always appreciate it!). The last 6 months were very difficult for her, but the staff were endlessly patient and continuously encouraging. When she became very poorly, the staff made a great effort to keep her comfortable and her spirits up. The activity coordinators were particularly lovely. I could not fault the care and compassion that she, and we, were shown, proving that it's not the decor that's important, but the people that work there, and they are a fantastic team!

The staff asked me to keep in touch with updates of how she's getting which is really lovely. Especially when her Alzheimer's can make her a very nasty difficult person at times.

We could not have asked for our dear father Paul to have been in a better home for his last few years. Every single member of staff was compassionate and professional at all times. We are very grateful to them all. I can't think of anything I could suggest to improve. I guess that says it all!

I 'm a regular volunteer in the home. The staff are always welcoming and helpful and the Residents are well cared for and happy. The activities organised are varied and fun and it's a please to spend time supporting this wonderful home.

My mother was admitted in January this year as I was no longer able to care for her as she needed 24 hrs care, I was very apprehensive at first,but I have found the care and consideration of the staff to be outstanding,the home is lovely and bright,the rooms are spacious,and all the areas are kept spotless,there is so much for them to do,lots of entertainment and activities, a very nice hairdressing salon,it really is like a very well run hotel,but the emphasis for me is how well they take care of mum, they are so kind, I cannot find any fault and would highly recommend it.

Food is good .

My mum has been at JTC for the last 3 months after being moved from an awful care home. I can easily say that within 48 hours of being there I noticed such an improvement in her.

This has continued and my mum is as settled as I think she could be anywhere, From day 1, I was very impressed with all of the staff and this still continues and is the same with every member of staff that I have met. The staff take care of all of my mums personal needs, but also as importantly, take the time out to just sit and talk to the residents.

The home is always very clean, food looks lovely and I think there are activities most days, although my mum does not take part in a lot of these, but there is never any pressure on my mum to do things that she does not want to do.

My mum has Dementia and Parkinsons, but since being at JTC, I hardly notice her Parkinson symptoms and her mobility has improved.

I can not praise the staff enough and thank you for putting the familys minds at ease

The staff are always helpful and ready to help, always on time and safe when working. The activities that are arranged are amazing, keeping my mum engaged in all of them, which she really enjoys. The food is of great quality and well presented, there is nothing they won't help with and they are willing to put in place any suggestions. A great home.

During his four month stay at Prince George, our Dad was treated with an exceptional level of love, care and respect by a dedicated team of nurses, carers and staff who took time to engage with him, laugh with him, cherish and comfort him through the last stage of his life. We will never forget and cannot thank everyone enough for that.

JTC tries hard to be a home from home and it delivers it well.

Care and hygiene are great, the place is clean and bright. Activities for the residents and the facilities available is really good.

The rooms are large and bright, we are pleased with our choice as a family.
