The staff are very friendly and helpful. Mum is not keen on joining in activities and she is never forced to. Her room is always clean and the food is excellent.

Mum is so settled here and considers this as a home from home. Life with dementia is challenging and at times very frightening but everyone that mum comes into contact with treats her with respect, dignity, care and love.

For nearly 10 years mum received exemplary care and was very happy as was I and her family.
We were reassured that she was well looked after. The staff really cared and regularly went the extra mile. This wasn't just a care home it was a real home.

The staff and facilities here are fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble and everyone is friendly and helpful. The food is outstanding, as is the entertainment and activities during the day. I am so glad that I have decided to make this my residence.

It is always hard to leave your home, but Sunrise is the very best alternative - akin to being in a first class hotel.
I am very happy here - plenty to do - a wonderful atmosphere and staff so kind, helpful and efficient.
I'm so pleased our daughter found this place - I'm richly blessed.

Superb care home. Exceptional staff. Brilliant facilities and activities.


I used to be an advocate so experienced many care homes. This is the best I have ever been to. My dad is receiving the best care I could ever have hoped for. He has told me first hand that he is really well cared for and

everyone is really nice.


I am so pleased that he and we as a family made the move for him to come here. A 10/10 from me.

Came here 07-07-16 requiring more personal care, so sold my home (which was quite an emotional change of life). However, having my own studio and furnishings, it was good to be in familiar surroundings. Staff treat you with respect and kindness. Activities are varied and participate if interested. Christmas
saw excellent decorations by the activities team and medical advice at 'well-being' team are very good.

It has taken up until now to begin to feel at home here; I am slow at adapting to some major changes in my life however with all my family abroad I have come to realise I am luckier than some- at least I am mobile- so far! The musical entertainment (with grand piano) is just my cup of tea!

My wife and I have lived here for six months. I do not need care but my wife has dementia. We have a sizeable suite including a shared bedroom and separate sitting room. The meals served in the dining room are of a good standard with a wide choice. Drinks and fruit are available in the 'bistro' - a
meeting point for residents along with a TV lounge.
A wide range of activities are available led by a dedicated team including keep fit, word puzzles, baking, flower arranging, music, poetry, visiting singers and musicians etc. Rooms and facilities are maintained to a high standard. This care home presents a higher standard and better value for money than other mainstream care homes we have experienced in South East England.

My mother occasionally has falls in her room and the carers/staff have looked after her very well; so mum tells me.
They calm her down, checking she is physically okay and comfortable. The staff/carers then inform me what has happened and what steps have been taken if any required or if other options
needs to be considered and discussed with me. The good communication is much appreciated.

I would definitely recommend Sunrise of Banstead. It's built for purpose, very striking, beautiful garden surrounding it. I feel the staff, carers are very sympathetic. The entertainment is inclusive for all including family and visitors. A wonderful place.

I began my career in care in 2013 at Signature at Banstead as a Care Assistant and have since progressed through senior roles, including Reminiscence Coordinator and Dementia Care Manager. For five years, I led our Dementia Community, supporting an exceptional team to deliver purposeful, meaningful activities that promote both mental and physical well-being. It is incredibly rewarding to see the positive impact this has on our residents every day.


Since November 2023, I have been Deputy Manager, leading the wider team and supporting the General Manager in all clinical matters. My focus is on ensuring the home operates to the highest standards and delivers exceptional care. I started my journey in Health and Social Care in 2012 and I have never looked back. I joined the Signature at Banstead family in February 2023 as an Assisted Living Coordinator. I was fascinated to work for Signature at Banstead because of their commitment to delivering excellent care to the elderly, guaranteeing the home is safe, exciting, committed and active. Prior to this, I worked as a Supported Living Manager and a Residential Care Manager in London and Kent. My experience over the years can allow me to help our Assisted Living community manage and care for a wide variety of individuals. I am passionate about delivering a service that is safe, effective and person-centred, driven by the needs and aspirations of the people we serve at Signature at Banstead. I’m dedicated to providing our residents with the best care and support that they need to recover and maintain their health and independence. My primary aim within my role is to create a people-centred team that delivers a positive colleague output to ensure that the people we support are receiving the best possible experience, ensuring they continue to lead happy and purposeful lives. I began my career with Signature as a Care Assistant in 2015, which was also my first experience of supporting people living with dementia. From the very beginning, I discovered a real passion for dementia care and have progressed through a number of roles, including Senior Carer and Care Supervisor, before becoming a Dementia Care Manager.


After gaining valuable experience within another home in the group, I transferred to Signature at Banstead in May 2024 as Dementia Care Manager, where I now oversee both of our dementia communities, Lavender Lane and Bluebells. I manage the operational, people and clinical aspects of the communities, working alongside an exceptional team to deliver compassionate, person-centred care. Supporting residents with meaningful and purposeful activities is at the heart of what we do, helping them to live well and enjoy the very best quality of life.
