Excellent care of my father. Take time to feed and clean him, especially as he has Alzheimer's. All the staff know the residents and take time to talk and help. I would recommend this care home.

I am extremely pleased with the care and professional services my mother receives. The care home provides a more personal approach to care than larger care homes, this is one of many reasons we picked this home for my 90-year-old mother. She can be very stubborn and needs a more personal approach to care which myself and sister have experienced is available here, please continue the excellent service with which you provide.

My mum has regular respite at Millcroft, which is a relief for myself as her primary carer. My mum is mentally very well, but has very poor mobility. She does not like change, however, Millcroft is like a home from home. Mum is always greeted by staff with a warm smile, a cup of tea and a biscuit. She is made to feel so welcome. When and if the time comes Mum needs full-time care I would not hesitate to place her in Millcroft. There are plenty of events and parties that Mum has attended whilst on respite. The staff and the manager go above and beyond to make her stay as pleasant as they can and for this I am eternally grateful. I would be lost without this gem of a home. Other residents are treated with dignity and respect, and whilst they are occasional challenging behaviours from some residents, Mum always says, staff deal with these situations well and has nothing but praise for the staffing team.

My father has only been in Millcroft for a month, but the change in him is amazing.
He was absolutely against being in a home but he has settled so well due to the high standards of care he is receiving.
Other family members have visited him and agree with me that it feels more like a family unit as the other residents are content and appear very happy.
The food is excellent (my father is fussy)!

I cannot praise the staff and management enough as the weight has been lifted from my shoulders and I know Dad is safe and happy.

A friend of 96 years old decided it was time to seek a residential home. Many places were visited but none were suitable. Millcroft when visited did meet all requirements with a homely feel. The staff were very friendly and the room offered was nice. Eighteen months have passed and all have met with satisfaction. She now treats Millcroft as home and has a good rapport with the staff. A number of events and parties are held during the year to which family and friends are invited. There are also mini bus outings twice a week to places of interest which she enjoys. She finds meals are good and varied and orders from a menu, in a well organised dining room. The attention given by staff and management are excellent. Overall a very good venue and staff.

My mother was admitted into Millcroft care home at the start of Covid, and therefore we had no choice as to where she was able to go. However, I am so happy with Millcroft and the lovely staff there, that I would not have been able to choose a better home for my mother. My mother has now been there for almost three years and is very content.

My mother moved into Millcroft in June 2022. The staff and manager were very welcoming and she has settled in very well. The home is very quiet and the facilities are good. Any issues I have had have been very quickly resolved by the staff who are very visible and helpful.

I find this home to be excellent and would recommend it unreservedly. I would recommend this home for its caring abilities. My wife and I spent our time together here. I will never forget all the support that the staff gave me when she passed. Food is good and my room is nice. This home is my home and I will be spending my time here until my time comes. A lovely place to retire.

A long association with the home. Have always found the staff friendly, helpful and professional. Would have my mother to stay in the home long term. My mum thinks of the home as home, which is great.

The staff at Millcroft are awesome. My mum is a new resident and of course, we were hesitant but the staff are attentive and very communicative with both me my family and most of all my mum. The house itself is a bit tired looking but it is clean and the residents have a wonderful decked area overlooking the local countryside. Mum's room is clean and she has her personal stuff with her including her own chair. She says the food is nice and that she is treated well. We can visit (even with COVID) we test before and wear PPE but are allowed to interact with her, which is super for all of us. I can't recommend enough.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would. My mom spent her last 2 months at Millcroft, and the care well exceeded any expectation. She was very happy, loved the staff, who not only were always promptly there when needed but also helped with high spirits, uplifting.
If ever I raised any concern, I was impressed by the personal care and attention by the senior manager. Never a problem, usually already resolved.
I could always rest assured that mom was in the best care. If ever I were to reach a stage of needing care, this would be my unreserved choice.

Highly recommended!
