My father has been a resident in this home for 18 months. He is very happy. We as a family are very happy with the care he receives from the staff. The staff are always very cheerful and happy to see us turn up without an appointment, nothing is too much trouble.
Car staff are kind and helpful. My dad is treated with kindness and respect and I am given peace of mind knowing that he is in a caring environment where he is treated with compassion and tolerance. The care staff do a very difficult job and I give them full credit for their care and dedication that they give to all of their residents.
I visit several times a year and dad has always appeared comfortable, clean and happy.
The staff are always attentive (lots of tea on offer) and very friendly to residents and visitors.
I am so pleased my father is at this home where I am confident he is always well looked after and cared for.
Wonderful, caring staff. A very family orientated atmosphere. My mother received excellent care throughout and died at the home very peacefully. Staff able to give a top quality end of life care assisted by hospice at home. Staff really genuine, all caring and welcoming. A very good care home for dementia patients. They understand the disease.
As a wife whose husband is in Ambleside Residential Care Home, I really cannot find better or would want to. Kindness, care and thought is given to our family, nothing is too much bother, please may it continue. We have had experience of another home and it wouldn't even come near Ambleside Residential Care Home. My husband has been there for three years.
My sister has been at Ambleside for 2 and a half years. She is always happy and clean and tidy when we visit. She often comments how good the food is. The staff are very caring and work hard to provide activities for the residents. My sisters has had occasional health problems and has always been very well cared for while not well.
The staff take very good care of her and she thoroughly enjoys living at Ambleside.
As a family, we can relax knowing she is in good hands and is looked after very well by the excellent staff.
A welcome atmosphere and delightful staff. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Always clean and tidy.
I moved my mother to Ambleside Residential Care Home because the care home where she was were unable to care for her properly. In Ambleside the staff are very "hands on". Previously my mum was left on her own for long periods of time. Now mum is more relaxed because the staff are with the residents all the time and there is a very homely atmosphere. My mum is well looked after and she is very happy in Ambleside. The care is of a very high standard. The staff understand dementia and nothing is too much trouble for them.
My mother in law has been a resident here for nearly 2 years. She had advanced Alzheimer's when she went in and was very withdrawn. She benefited greatly from the attention of the staff and the company of other residents. It was a real pleasure to see her react to people. Last November she had a stroke and was unable to use her right arm or leg. She did not make progress while in hospital and came back to Ambleside. With their patient care she has made slow but steady progress. We have employed a physiotherapist to go in twice a week to give her exercises. The staff do not mind this at all and help out with exercises. With their help mum is benefiting. I am very grateful for this.
A relaxed, happy environment that I honestly feel is helped towards making having a relative there a less stressful experience. Great work!!
I am always greeted and given an update on my fathers welfare. The care home has a nice atmosphere never feel and worried about how my dad is being looked after. I would recommend Ambleside to anyone.
My mother-in-law has just very recently moved into Ambleside Care Home Bexhill and the reception and kindness we received from the staff was wonderful, they are all very friendly and it was so nice to see some friendly faces. My mother-in-law is so comfortable there and being well looked after, a great weight off my mind.
No problem noted, very well run home. Thank you for taking care of my mother.
Mum always looks clean and cared for when I visit. I am always informed and invited to functions that are being held. The staff are friendly, always happy to help with any questions.
Thank you for taking the time to provide a review for your mothers care at Ambleside. We appreciate each and every review that we receive for our home, and take all feedback into consideration to ensure we are constantly improving. I’d like to thank you for your positive words in your review, and...
My mum was extremely well looked after for the 7 months she was in the care home. All staff were well trained and very caring. They always made time to talk to my mum and helped her with all her needs. As she became ill, I decided to let my mum be cared for in Ambleside rather than going into hospital. The doctor was in agreement with this. All staff including cleaners, cook, carers etc treated her like their own mum. Ambleside is a very warm and welcoming home. I have no problem recommending them.
Very well care for all. Visitors welcomed. Staff extremely good and caring.
