My mother has been a resident at Whitcliff for some six months now. It is never ideal placing a loved one into a care facility, but the staff at Whitecliff, take such good care of my mother; it is a blessing. Mum is as happy as she can be, she considers several of the staff, as family. She is comfortable, well cared for and relaxed. I couldn't ask for more.

I find this residential home extremely welcoming. The staff, as a whole, are polite, friendly and approachable. It is a daunting experience using these services, but I have felt very reassured that my friend is in good hands.

Overall Experience

Everyone at Whitecliff (carers, domestic staff, and management) are lovely. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they looked after Mum with so much care. The home has a lovely friendly vibe and there are always a lot of activities going on. I am sad that Mum needed to move to a nursing home as I had begun to think of everyone as family and trusted them to look after Mum.

I visit my friend regularly. I always feel welcome and I am given a cup of tea and offered cake. He is very happy at Whitecliff, he always seems busy and engrossed in an activity when I am there. I make sure I ring before I visit as I have missed him in the past as he goes out on the bus trips, I have been offered to join him and fellow residents on trips. A great, happy home!

Overall Experience

My mother-in-law has settled into this care home very quickly. The care she receives is excellent. Nothing is too much trouble for any member of staff. We chose this home for the care, not the decor, but even this has improved considerably since she has been here. Recently mum has had a couple of falls due to her condition. We are contacted and updated regularly if it happens with every small detail explained. I wouldn't want to move her from here unless we had to.

All staff at Whitecliff have been very caring and have a very good understanding of my mother's varied needs. The home provides a range of activities which are always modified to all residents who may have alternative needs. Whitecliff have also catered for Mum's ethnic background. Thanks to all the staff who enable my freedom.
