My father-in-law has been at Whitebriars for about three and a half years, and I can honestly say he is extremely well looked after. My husband and I never have to worry about him. He always has a smile on his face when we visit, and he enjoys the trips they take him on. The staff are consistently friendly
and welcoming, and the care they show every resident is wonderful. The activities they provide have brought out a side of him I never expected to see, and he absolutely loves taking part.

Dad is very well cared for at Whitebrairs. Cannot fault it. Alicia and her staff are all very friendly and approachable. Nothing is too much trouble for them all.
I have 100% confidence in the home and Dad is very happy there.
Dad is always out on daytrips and plenty of things going on in the home
every day.
The communication from all the staff is excellent and I am kept well informed at all times.
A superb care home.

My brother has now been a resident of "Whitebriars" for over 3 years. Management and staff have been amazing. Always courteous and willing to respond to any questions, suggestions. The frequent minibus trips really get a positive reaction and often note one-on-one attention to the less mobile residents
along with lots of activities in the 'common/activity areas'

Overall the home seems pleasant. Staff are friendly. Helpful if you ask a question. Downside is I experienced a resident having to wait over an hour to use the toilet because she needed to be hoisted and the staff member that could do this was on their lunch break. When I left the resident was still
waiting. Not acceptable in my opinion.

The Whitebeach

As it became increasingly apparent that my wife would need residential care after more than a two years of trying to care for her at home, together with her sister and with support from social services we set about visiting a number of care homes in the area. Initially my wife was in respite care at
a care home we selected. It was a wholly unsatisfactory experience. Whitebeach was then recommended and after a week of day care and finding it to be both engaging and caring she became a resident. In the three years since then the level of care has remained at the same high standard.

My sister was accepted at White Beach in Hastings earlier this year. I have been extremely impressed by all the staff at the home. My sister can be quite demanding and difficult at times and despite this she has been treated with patience and care. Staff have gone out of their way to find activities
to make my sister's life more enjoyable and this has helped her settle. The home is clean and comfortable and my sister is encouraged to take part in activities.

My wife has been in Whitebeach for just over 1 year now, and the care given has been exemplary given the type of dementia she has. The staff are very considerate and caring my wife does respond to them very well. Her overall health has improved eg: keeping her weight stable, now eating with a knife,
fork and spoon herself and does respond with the odd sentence. The only drawback us that she shares a room, hence satisfactory mark but it is always clean and tidy. All in all, I know she is in a safe and well cared for environment.

On every visit the staff are friendly and helpful and the care is very good with lots of activities, the staff make a lot of effort to make the home as comfortable as possible and treat the residents with a lot of care and dignity.
The only thing is my sister has to share a room with another lady who
is bedbound and we have to pass through her room to get to my sisters which is not ideal. Otherwise 10/10.

My 95 year old friend is tiny, frail and mentally alert.
She has been at Whitebeach for the past 5 months and has settled in well. The carers are excellent and although she is a spinster she is very happy to be cared for by the men! The managers have been really helpful in helping to make my friend
comfortable and at ease. On Saturday they arranged a lovely summer party for the residents but also included their own families who enjoyed it too - a lot of thought had gone into making the party and success. My friend would benefit from more interaction with mentally alert people as residents.
