Very friendly and caring place. Felt like home.
Staff are knowledgeable and informative.
Very good. Staff are very kind.
Everything is good.
The frontline care staff are friendly and kind.
The bedrooms are clean and kept tidy. There appear to be plenty of activities for the residents to join in if they want to.
All in all a good experience, we are happy with the standard of care.
Ash Grove Care Home have good management and staff employed. Both are of exceptional quality in the rest home with staff and management going the extra mile to ensure the residents are well cared for and happy. We are always welcomed and nothing is too much trouble.
I was referred to this establishment for a short respite period. I have been made to feel very happy here and all of the staff are excellent at their jobs. Consequently, after this rest, I feel much fitter both mentally and physically.
Great communications including phone calls to update as required.
With a little love and genuine care the place could be great exactly how it was when we first moved nan in.
This is an old review, related to a short term temporary manager and the manager was removed long ago. This reviewers grandmother was in our care home for 5 years. She was funded by ESCC Adult Social Care therefore; she was in a smaller room on the 1st floor for about 4 years. When she couldn’t...
My mother was a resident at Woodville Rest Home for approx. 7 years. She had dementia and at times could be very confused and also very argumentative. There were times that she would test my patience but the staff would be so supportive and give advice on how to cope with this. The home had a very warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are kind, friendly, caring and professional in what they do. My mother passed away at Woodville Rest Home peacefully in December and I felt the care she was given was only the best in every way possible. A big thank you to you all and I would recommend Woodville Rest Home to anyone -100%!

Besides my visiting the home I get calls and updates about my Aunt.
My mother-in-law spent about 6-7 years in Woodville Rest Home and all I can do is give nothing but praise for this care home. Staff were always obliging and everything was never too much trouble for them. Staff were always obliging and every time I visited, I always felt welcomed and felt there was a very happy atmosphere. I was always given necessary information with regard to my mother-in-law on how things were, which made coping so much easier. I would always recommend this care home.
My family have known this lady for a long time, so we came to the home to visit her. The staff were very hands on with the residents, making sure they have everything they need and are happy with everything. I am looking for a home for my mother and would be more than happy to have my mother in Woodville Rest Home.
Since being at Woodville Rest Home, my aunt has been made to feel settled and at home. The staff are caring and attentive and very considerate to her individual needs.
I find Woodville Rest Home a warm and friendly place with hardworking, loving staff who are dedicated to the residents that they feel safe and secure.
My mother had dementia and it took a lot of hard looking to find a care home that she felt at home in. She was welcomed by caring and friendly staff, mum had a nice bright room, plenty of food that was well cooked. She spent 7 very happy years there and was loved by all the staff before passing on. I cannot thank the staff and management enough for looking after mum.
Fantastic staff and they really take care of residents. I would have no hesitation in recommending this home to anyone.
I am very happy with the care and support my mother receives at Woodville. Staff are always helpful.
My mother-in-law has been here for a few years now and she is extremely well cared for. She has had some difficult problems but the excellent staff care for her as if she was their own relation. I can't visit as much as I would like but I am confident and secure in the fact that she is well-cared for and happy. I can relax in knowing she is in safe hands. Her dementia can sometimes make her behaviour difficult to deal with but I cannot express how caring, patient and gentle the staff are. They absolutely make the place. It is her home there and the place makes it like a proper home, not a care home. However, they are professional and ensure the dignity of the residents are at the forefront of their care.
