This home is warm, friendly, clean, a mixture of staff young old and male and female.
It gives residents plenty of different activities. Staff are fantastic with all residents and all their different needs.
Would strongly recommend this home.

My relative is so happy at Ash Grove! Everyone is so friendly and caring. They always have enough time to help, either with my relative or with any enquiries I may have. The food looks delicious and the rooms are warm and cosy. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at Ash Grove and really appreciate
all that they do for my relative.

My Mum has been attending the Day Centre at Ash Grove since the summer. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. The day centre manager has gone out of her way to help my mum settle in and feel at home with patience and understanding. She has taken the time to find out what Mum likes doing in order
to provide much-needed activities and stimulation.

I have found this facility warm not only physically but emotionally too. Most interact with each other at all levels. As a visitor, I felt very welcome and part of a huge family.
I have not seen my dear dad so happy and relaxed for a long time, since living there, it has given him a second lease of
life.

My mother has been at Ash Grove for almost twelve months. All the staff are warm and friendly and when we visit nothing is too much trouble, even on the few occasions when we have arrived unannounced. She is looked after with respect and kindness and the staff are also very supportive to us as it
has been a difficult time. She likes all the staff and they are very patient with her and they are very caring.

The home appears very homely. Staff are attentive and welcoming during visits. The team facilitated a room move after the client had shown preference to a different room - very person-centred. The staff appear to enjoy time with clients in communal areas. Lots of laughing could be heard.

Although this care home has a CQC rating of good when it should be excellent. There have been no cases of covid19, amongst the residents or the staff. The management and care assistants are all first-class and can take great pride in all they do. My mother always talks very highly of all the staff,
which of course, makes me very happy. Thank you very much for looking after Mum.

Words seem inadequate to explain the excellent level of care and attention that was given to my mother in her last few years at Ash Grove. The home has a warm, friendly atmosphere and all the staff are very attentive to all the residents. I had no doubts leaving my mother in their safe hands, she was
always treated as an individual and with respect and was looked after with such kindness. She was never forced to do anything she didn't want to but would be gently encouraged when needed. During my mother's last few weeks, the staff went beyond their duty of care and were always there when required without encroaching on the family personal time. Having spent many hours with my mother during her last few days, I witnessed first hand how the staff perform and I have nothing but praise for the way they look after all the residents (and their families when they visit).

The management are very helpful, friendly and supportive. The carers are very good with the residents and treat them with respect and dignity, they also have patience with them and kindness. There are always different activities for the residents to stimulate them. The home is always clean and tidy.
The maintenance is very good with improvements and repairs going on most of the time.

I enjoy visiting my friend at Amherst Court. The staff are always very welcoming and I can stay for lunch as well if I want to.
When I visit there is always a quiet area I can go to chat privately if we wish to as the home has a quiet room and outdoor space.
The food is always delicious and homemade
which is a nice change from other homes my friend has stayed at.
My friend has been so much happier in himself since coming to stay at Amherst and with staff support is also going out more and joining in with group activities.
The home has a warm friendly atmosphere and always looks clean and smells fresh.

My brother in law spent his last few weeks at Ash Grove Care Home. We found the home clean and welcoming. The decor was pleasing.
