Rosedale Care Home

Visiting a friend. Made to feel very welcome, offered tea and biscuits on arrival. Very pleasant surroundings and friendly staff.

It is always lovely to visit Nan. She is so much happier here, with access to the garden where she can sit and relax. Now she has her cast off, they are encouraging her to move about as much as she can. All the staff are welcoming and friendly. Nan especially likes the manager, who seems to have a great connection with Nan. They are always bubbly, friendly and going the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable (i.e. padding Nan's bed so her arms don't get trapped).

My mother has been living at Rosedale now for a couple of months and loves it. My sister and I viewed a lot of homes and chose Rosedale because when we entered, we immediately felt at home. The house is spotless and the staff cannot do enough for her. Mum loves the food and has gained weight since she has been there. Best choice we ever made. Absolutely no regrets. Mother is happy and safe, which was our first concern.

We were very worried about Mum going into a care home, we had looked at a few that we weren't happy with. But Rosedale, though a little tired in places, ticked all of the boxes. The staff are lovely and it is homely. Mum has settled in very well and is happy here. She loves sitting in the garden and she thinks the food is fantastic. Would highly recommend.

I visit a friend at Rosedale regularly and find it a very warm and friendly place to visit. The staff and management are welcoming and my friend living at the home is well cared for, comfortable and happy.

My great-nan is a resident at this care home, she is incredibly happy here. The staff are extremely polite and friendly and create a warm, homely environment for residents and visitors. My nan enjoys the food as well.

I do feel the premises does need a little updating of the resident's rooms.

I visit Rosedale on a weekly basis to see a friend. Rosedale are always kind when I arrive. I have observed the compassion and empathy towards the residents from the staff and management team. All the residents are always clean and tidy, happy and well cared for. This care home is first class and we are lucky to have this little family-orientated place in Horsham.

My dear friend became a resident of Rosedale in October 21, choosing to spend her final days in her room, where she enjoyed her views of the garden from her bedroom window. She appreciated all her wholesome meals, which were always brought to her by the lovely staff who became like family to her. They always made time to listen to her life stories as well as gently tend to her physical needs. When my friend began to decline in her final weeks of life, the staff regularly monitored her, so it was comforting to know a lovely staff member was holding her hand when she died in February 2023. The manager was exemplary in communicating with her friends as well as in his care and concern for residents.

I have visited on many occasions and always find the staff and management very kind and caring. The home itself is clean and well-run and we are happy with the way our mum is cared for.

Well, I was very upset to put Mum in a home, looked at a few, went to Rosedale Care Home and all my fears were lifted. My experience going into Rosedale Care Home was one of a warm, loving and caring experience. It was not like a home for the elderly, it was like a home from home. My mum is very cared for and loved, they treat all their residents like this. Staff and management go beyond their duty. Well done to all of them.

We have found it very warm and friendly. Lots of chatter, each time we visited. Friendly staff. Good ambience. Cheerful furnishing.

Very pleased to know that my aunt is being looked after in a loving atmosphere with every care possible as I live abroad. Thanking everybody for everything they do to make her life comfortable. A wonderful care home.

Since my mother has been a resident she has been treated with the utmost care, and respect and has been looked after in the most caring way possible. All the staff are very friendly my mother could not be any happier. She has really settled in which makes life easier for my sisters and myself. Could not recommend Rosedale enough.

My dad stayed at the home for a week. This was for respite for my Mum who acts as his main carer. I felt that Dad was well cared for and the staff were friendly and conscientious. He seemed to settle very well and enjoyed sitting in the garden, making the best of the pleasant weather at the time of his stay. He also loved the food. I think he ate very well!

The home is being renovated and you can see the improvements being made to communal areas to bring things up to date. When it was time to pick Dad up, several members of staff took the time to say goodbye and showed genuine affection for him.

Very homely, caring, friendly home. My mum is receiving excellent care. The carers are excellent and I am very happy that we chose Rosedale.

When I visit my mother I find the home very warm and cosy and friendly place home from home. The care is excellent. My mother enjoys the food and the home is kept immaculate and the care is excellent. The management is excellent.

This was the first time that my mother has gone into respite care whilst we had a break for a week. I was very apprehensive about it; how she would react and what it would be like for her. We were warmly welcomed and reassured by the manager and his lovely team. I was given reassurance that they can cope but that they would let me know if there were any issues and that I was welcome to call any time to check on her. In the event, I opted not to call, but I was thinking about her all week. In the event I need not have worried, we collected Mum and all was well, and in fact, she thought she had been on holiday. I am very grateful for the care she received, and the break we had was much needed, and we are planning on more respite care periods. We will be comfortable that Mum will be in good hands.
