Your home and staff are wonderful I have mentioned you to several people who eventually may need your services
Unlike other care homes Greenways residents are very happy and enjoy multiple activities daily. Management and staff are quite exceptional. The home is 'spotless' - the catering is amazing. A wonderful home.
Many thanks for your positive comments regarding our home and team. We are very pleased to hear that you are happy with services provided at Greenways. I will be sure to share this review with the team here. Thank you again for your kind words.
My mother moved into Greenways in May 2025, when I chose Greenways it stood out from others as very clean and well laid out, during my mothers stay until passing on the 14.5.26 she was very well looked after all of the staff were fantastic, very friendly and always helpful, I am 100% happy with choosing Greenways, I know after a short time I had made the right decision. I would definitely recommend Greenway to anyone.
Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words. It was an absolute privilege to care for your Mum, and our team will truly miss her warm smile and great sense of humour. We are so glad to hear that our staff provided the comfort and support you were looking for. Please know that our thoughts are with you and your family, and our door is always open if you ever need a listening ear.
My mother has been a resident of Greenways for five years. During this time, her needs have always been considered. As her son, my needs have also, always been considered. I am very happy with the arrangements at Greenways, especially from the manager Sylvia.
Thank you so much for your very kind words. I will share your feedback with the team. It is a privilege to have your Mum in our care. Hope to see you soon in Greenways.
My mum is in late stage dementia and after a not very successful family trip out the other evening - she became overwhelmed- I took her back where she was met with such warmth, a hug , an offer of a cup Of tea and I was truly grateful and so relieved !
We had a couple of previous disastrous years at other homes and Greenway's is leaps above them - the management care and listen to any concerns , the carers treat residents with kindness and sense of humour , it's always clean , it's just fabulous and we are glad our mum is there at this the worst time of her life ! 10/10
I visited Greenways before her stay begun, I was amazed by how helpful the admin worked to get her a room!!! Upon taking my mum there, she settled in surprisingly quickly. At home, she is housebound and never sees anyone except for the carers that go in twice a day. But here, she had company, and the caring staff are absolutely amazing, nothing is too much trouble, they are kind, caring and I really don't know how they make the home feel like a 'home'. Spotlessly clean, food was 5 star! I honestly can't thank Greenways enough, I wish my mum could be a resident .... maybe I'll begin the process to move to this wonderful 'hotel', as soon as mum is ready. Thanks Team!
Thank you for taking time to write such a lovely review for Greenways. It was a biggest pleasure to have your Mum with us. We all hope she enjoyed her stay at Greenways. I will pass your kind words to all staff members.
My mum has been a resident at Greenways since February 2025. The standard of care and cleanliness is very good, and the staff are kind and friendly. They are always ready to help with the variety of tasks mum now needs help with, from washing and dressing to helping her understand her mobile phone! I have confidence that mum is in secure surroundings and that she is well looked after.
The care my relative receives at Greenways is excellent. The manager and her staff are kind, caring and go out of their way to help the residents. There is a real family atmosphere and the activities arranged are very varied and thoroughly enjoyed by my relative who benefits greatly from the stimulus they provide.
Many thanks for taking the time to complete the review for Greenways. I will share it with our team. Your Mum is an amazing person and it is great to see her happy, enjoying activities and interacting with staff and other residents. It is always nice to see you when you are visiting. Hope to see you again soon.
My Mum is a resident at Greenways and her care is brilliant. The staff are all so kind and caring as Mum has Alzheimer's and Vascular Dementia and they look after her with dignity and compassion. As a family, we are safe in the knowledge that Mum is safe, warm and cared for.
Thank you very much for your lovely review. I will pass your kind words on to all staff at Greenways. It is a pleasure to have your mum with us and to see her socialising with others. We are looking forward to seeing you soon.
The care home team are exceptionally caring and thoughtful. They clearly want to do their best for the residents and I have felt both my parents are both safe and well looked after.
Thank you team!
Thank you for the amazing review. I will share your kind words with our team. It was a pleasure to have both of your parents with us over Christmas. We are looking forward to seeing you at Greenways very soon.
My sister has been in this home since February 2024. It has been the best experience for her having been in a previous home for 16 months. Believe me, we can now tell how a good home runs.
Many thanks for a lovely review. I will share it with all the team. It is a great pleasure to have your sister with us and we are happy to see you here any time. We are looking forward to seeing you soon at Greenways.
My mother has always been well cared for and enjoys all the activities and loves the staff who look after her. I would not hesitate to recommend Greenways to anyone.
Thank you for your kind words. I will pass your great review to all colleagues. It is always a pleasure to see you at Greenways. See you soon.
The 30th of September was our 57th wedding anniversary. The staff set up a table, nicely decorated in the main lounge so we could have lunch together. The meal was lovely and we were waited upon. My wife suffers from dementia and the carers dressed her in sparkly top and she looked lovely sitting in her wheelchair. Several of the staff came and wished us well, which was appreciated. The day will remain memorable because of the love and dedication of the staff.
Thank you for the wonderful review. It was a big pleasure to organise the event for you and your lovely wife and we are happy to hear how much you have enjoyed this. We are looking forward to seeing you soon at Greenways.
After spending many days in the home during those final 2 weeks, we saw and fully appreciated the wonderful community you have created in Greenways and how happy the residents are, and they truly feel 'at home' We were really touched by the care and commitment from many of your staff, the time they spent talking to us and the kindness they showed to my wife, The fact staff visited at the end of their shift, and days off showed how much they care, and that their work is more than just a 'job' to them.
My father broke his right leg in November. This was not picked up by MHA Greenways until I insisted on an X-ray which was not done until December, 4/5 weeks later. The care plan was not followed. The surgery was also found wanting in their response. I had to contact WSC and CQC because of this safeguarding issue. Some of my father's clothes and personal items went missing some were torn and we handed in clothes that weren't his. His personal needs were not adequately met and lacked stimulus. The badly handled sale of another provider meant that I had no idea whether Greenways would remain open. Shortage of staff, low morale, poorly led and reluctantly decided to move him to a care home that would meet his needs. There are some wonderful staff here who are dedicated and kind but are unappreciated. The food is really good and the home is generally clean. MHA corporate organisation is only interested in taking people's money.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Concerns were raised with the home and management team, and we aim to investigate and make improvements where these can be made. We wish you and your family well for the future.
Mum has been a resident for over two years and in that time I have found the home and staff to be caring and supportive with her needs. They keep me informed if there are any issues and discuss with me suggested treatment plans. Where possible, Mum is consulted about her needs but as she now is suffering from dementia, sometimes the home and myself have to make decisions for her.
Thank you very much for your lovely review. I will pass your kind comments to all staff at Greenways. We are all looking forward to seeing you at Greenways very soon.
During the last two weeks of Nana's life she received compassion and support to help her to pass in the way she wanted. As a family we were supported to be there for her in the way that was right for her and for us. I cannot recommend this home highly enough.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It was a pleasure to have your nana with us. She was full of smiles and a delight to care for. I will pass your lovely comments to all staff members at Greenways.
It is second to none. The staff are always helpful and informative. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff.
It makes me very happy to hear my aunt always say that she is very well looked after.
Thank you very much for such a lovely review. It is our pleasure to have your auntie with us. I will share your very kind comments with all staff at Greenways. Hope to see you soon.
The staff at Greenways always seem willing to make time to speak to residents and family whenever necessary, however busy they are. They seem to treat everyone as individuals and are conscious of the residents’ varying needs.
Thank you for taking the time to complete the review for Greenways. I will share your lovely comments with the staff. We are all looking forward to seeing you soon.
My father has been settling into Greenways for the last couple of months and his social contacts have improved. The staff are friendly and attentive and his room is lovely. Following my mother's demise in a different home, my daughter was at first reluctant to visit but having got her across the threshold she has since been back because it feels so much better here.
Thank you for the review you’ve submitted. I will pass your kind comments on to the team at Greenways. We are pleased to have your father with us and it’s nice to see him socialising with other residents and staff.

Meet the Team (4)

I joined MHA Hampton Lodge care home in 2011 as an Administrator and was promoted to Admin Manager and Regional Admin Support. After completing my Level 5 Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care qualification and winning MHA's Learning Achievement of the Year Award, I successfully applied to be Home Manager at Greenways in 2021 where I have been leading a dedicated team ever since.
My current role is amazing. I am really enjoying it and for me it’s a dream come true. Having worked in the care industry for over 20 years, I know the difference a great home can make to the quality of residents' lives and my mission is to make Greenways a home from home, where everyone feels valued and loved.

| have 12 years experience of working in the care industry and prior to MHA I worked in HR. Working as Admin Manager for Greenways is truly rewarding. I joined the Greenways family in 2019 and it's such a friendly place to work and I love getting to know all our residents and their friends and families. I have so many favourite memories but the one that comes to mind first is of the recent Christmas Craft Fair where we had live music, Mrs Claus welcoming children, and wonderful stalls.

Even after working in the building industry for over 40 years, I wasn't ready to retire, so when this Maintenance role came up in 2019, I jumped at the chance to contribute my experience to a very worthwhile organisation. Over the last six years, I've made great friends with residents, their friends and families, as well as MHA colleagues. One of my favourite residents was a gentleman who I discovered grew up in the same town (Dunstable in Bedfordshire) and we even went to the same school.

I loved my work placement at Greenways so much that I joined as a permanent Care Assistant after completing my NQL Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification at Chichester College in April 2024. What I find most rewarding, is knowing that I'm contributing to the happiness of residents and their friends and families every day. I am really enjoying my role, and I am so happy I decided to take it on. My highlight so far has been dancing with residents and their visitors at the Christmas party. Dancing is my favourite hobby so I was in my element!
