My mum was end of end-of-life care in December 2023. I seriously cannot thank all the staff at Kensington Lodge enough for all the care, love and compassion that they gave my mum. It was the hardest 3 weeks of my life but every day the Kensington team were amazing making Mum so comfortable and also
supporting me. During the 3 years that Mum was at Kensington, I didn’t make one single complaint because she was well looked after. So I would like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to the wonderful manager and all of her amazing team! I miss you all.

My mother has settled very quickly at this care home. I am very grateful for all the management and nursing staff for all the hard work they put in every day.
They keep us updated with my mother's health.
This is a very clean care home.

Since my dad started his stay at Kensington Lodge he’s been really well cared for by his carer. Shes helped him settle in with ease and has been a great companion to him which helps both my sister and I rest easy knowing he’s in good company.

The staff at Kensington Lodge are friendly, caring, patient, empathetic and professional. My aunt is very well looked after, always dressed well, hair and nails done. Whenever I visit I am made to feel welcome. My aunt enjoyed the Christmas festivities which the staff kindly put on. Very happy with

My dad’s care at Kensington Lodge has been the very best. It has a warm and nurturing environment and my dad isn’t just a resident he’s part of a caring family. After the ups and downs of last year seeing how far he’s come I feel reassured he’s in the right place. I have nothing but praise for the staff
who are professional and committed to providing the best care. They are kind, compassionate and good humoured and I feel such gratitude for everything they do for my lovely dad. My world was turned upside down with my dad’s decline and I thought we’d never laugh again but I was wrong, we laugh a lot!
My visit today was fab, Dad was all smiles and I left feeling uplifted.

My father-in-law was cared for so well at the home. He was loved like their own father. He had a lovely room. His meals were served up superbly. He was kept clean and entertained. But sadly, reached the last stage of dementia. He stopped eating and drinking. The girls looked after him until the end.
They bathed him, kept him very comfortable, sponged his palette, layed with him and played background music, kept us informed every step of the way, and showed their respect at his funeral. I fully commend the manageress and her team. Thank you with all our hearts.

My sister has learning difficulties and has been with Kensington Lodge for approximately seven years, and as far as I can see, she is looked after very well.
Whenever I go in, I am really welcomed with tea and biscuits.

I am so happy with my father's care at this home. He is looked after so well, even though he has dementia and is challenging at times. Management and staff go up and beyond looking after him. Hands up to the chef! My dad eats all his food up and it is always well presented. The staff are all lovely
and have the patience of saints. Dad's room is very clean and tidy. Looking forward to visiting at Christmas. Manager is extremely on the ball with everything! Well done. Amazing.

My mum has been at Kensington Lodge for over a year and a half and I am so happy that she is there. I know that she is well looked after and safe. She has always been a very picky eater and yet she praises the chef all the time for how yummy the food is, that is a major achievement! The care home helps
her use her iPad to stay in touch with me and also give me updates on how she is doing. The staff are all so caring and helpful. It is such a relief for me that she is there. In a place where I know she is loved and well cared for.

My mother-in-law became a resident of Kensington Lodge in August 2023. Everytime I visit I am welcomed by friendly, happy staff, managers and care staff. The home has a lovely 'home from home' feeling and I believe that my mother-in-law would not be as happy anywhere else. Everything from the atmosphere,
cleanliness, food and especially the love and care she receives is above and beyond.

Our family were delighted to stumble across Kensington Lodge. After a bad experience with another care home, we managed to get our dad in here and we haven't looked back. Everyone, from the manager down to the staff, have made our dad's life much happier. The love shown to the residents from the staff

The staff and management at Kensington Lodge are superb individuals. Very friendly and are happy to answer any questions that you may have. The care and attention that they show all the residents is above and beyond. My Mum is really settled there, happy and content. I have absolutely no concerns about
my Mother's care, and know that when I visit I will always be greeted with smiles. (The drinks and cake offered are also very welcome)!

Every time we visit we are always impressed by the friendliness of staff and management. They always go the extra mile to make us feel part of the Kensington Lodge family. My mum has settled extremely well since moving there in August 2023. And that is due to the home being so homely and attentive.
