I am totally happy with the way my wife is cared for. In fact, the carers are amazing the way they look after the residents. The great entertainment and number of activities they have is so different from other homes. I am so very confident that my wife's every need, including the care and attention given to her is wonderful. I also feel very welcome every time I visit. When it's my time I would like to stay here.

My husband is well cared for and I am always informed of any problems. The staff are very caring and work extremely hard to make the residents happy and valued. The food is very good and presented in an appetising way

The staff here are wonderful but more permanent staff are required so they get to know the residents. The agency staff really don't know or understand the needs of the residents as each resident has different needs and understanding.

We are a private user of this home and although the staff are lovely, the fees are extortionate. Food is basic and so is the care. My mother is not bed bound and doesn't need specialist care. Her fire door has been broken since she has been there (1.5 years) and now her rings have gone missing. We would move her but she is settled there now.

My mother has used the service for over a year in the day centre. This is my family's lifeline that enables us to rest and work. Mum is so happy and relaxed here looked after by the amazing and caring, hardworking day centre staff at Horsham. Well done team, thank you for your ongoing care and support.

My mum spent the last year of her life in this wonderful home. I can’t thank enough the hard-working, dedicated staff for all their support and kindnesses. Their jobs are not easy but every member of staff that I have had the privilege to meet or to discuss mum with have shown both extreme professionalism and understanding. This can be sometimes a challenging environment, with not enough time and money to stretch to all the demands made upon them but as a team, they rise to each challenge with patience and determination. They deserve my heartfelt gratitude and I wish them all the luck in the future.

I cannot praise the care and attention that my mother has received enough. All staff have been extremely caring and any concerns with my mother's care or problems with her health, my sister and I are contacted immediately. We always get a very warm welcome too when we visit our mother. Many thanks to all.

My mother is resident because of Alzheimer's and at nearly 95 has other health issues. Since being cared for at M R Lodge she has calmed down considerably because of the routine she has and the feeling of stability means she can enjoy what life she has. The staff are caring and considerate and welcome visitors.

My name is Oluwatosin Omisakin, you can call me Tosin. I am the clinical lead at Mill River Lodge, and I assist the service manager in running the home.

I started my nursing career in 2013 in Nigeria and I have garnered a wealth of experience in adult nursing over the years.

I am very passionate about making a difference in residents’ lives and delivering excellent quality care. This resonates with the values of Shaw Healthcare and made me join in March 2022.

It also encouraged me to get a BSc degree (Nursing Science) from the University of Derby in 2022.

I am involved in leading and supporting the nursing team to achieve exemplary care services for our residents, as well as supporting families on their care journey.

Feel free to approach me for a chat.

Cristian DiaconuJob Title:Service ManagerJoined: 2022

I am a seasoned professional in the field of care home management with over 5 years of experience. Before my current role as Service Manager, I served as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) in the A&E department for several years, bringing a wealth of clinical experience with me.

In my previous position, I played a key role in revitalizing a care facility that was facing declining enrollment. Through my dedication and leadership, I successfully increased patient enrollment and elevated general satisfaction levels among existing residents.

My commitment lies in the continual improvement of services offered to care home residents. I am devoted to creating an ideal environment that caters not only to residents but also fosters a welcoming atmosphere for staff, friends, and family, ensuring a holistic and enriching experience for all.
