My mother has lived at Nyton House since March 2020 She has come alive with all the interests that are provided at Nyton. The staff for her 92nd birthday made her feel so special. A wonderful memorable day for her when staff went the extra mile especially during these Covid times. We feel she is in such a special place to enjoy later life and keep laughing! My mother's best interests are always at the heart of everything they do there for her.
We cannot thank the manager and her team enough for attentive, individual and professional service that Nyton House has provided for my 90 year old mother. Since her transfer to Nyton House her physical and mental well-being has improved beyond our wildest dreams, we are so happy and relieved to know that she is now in such a caring and loving home.
Despite their challenging mental and physical health issues, the staff have been very supportive and helpful to the family as we travel this dementia journey together.
Would not wish them to be anywhere else.
A delightful, family-run care home in a superb, rural setting with extensive grounds. Having experienced problems with previous homes, I am really pleased that my mother is now settled at Nyton House. Unlike many care home groups that are run as remote corporate operations, the management and staff at Nyton House actually care about their residents and the very personal service they so successfully provide. The managers are easily contactable and provide regular updates. I am extremely impressed and would recommend Nyton House without hesitation.
The standard of care provided by the carers is absolutely outstanding. They go out of their way to go the extra mile in all cases. The standard of cleanliness is exemplary and the whole atmosphere is a very happy one.
Special trips and activities have been organised with his interests in mind rather than just insisting that he joins in with established activities. The setting is delightful with beautiful gardens to wander around and big, bright, airy bedrooms that we have been able to personalise.
My father-in-law has always been treated with great dignity and respect but also with a huge amount of love. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending Nyton House.
Nyton is a beautiful home with wonderful staff.
The assisted living apartment was ideal, giving them the support they needed while retaining some independence. Food and staff were excellent and the general feel of Nyton House was caring and sociable.
I've been visiting Nyton for the past 10 years as a volunteer and cannot speak highly enough of the level of care provided to the residents and high standards that the home upholds.
We were not wrong. I would recommend Nyton House to any family looking for a place for their relation. The staff are so lovely and have all the patients in the world. Nyton House is clean and smells nice.
Thank you all the staff at Nyton House.
The staff are excellent and very attentive to her needs (she needs constant reassurance).
The food is excellent and there is a choice at all meal times.
On special occasions the kitchen staff produce celebratory cakes and for Mum's 90th birthday they laid out a very impressive buffet for residents and approx. 15 family visitors.
Mum enjoys trips out in the Nyton transport.
Knowing Mum is well cared for and safe is very reassuring.
Nyton House is the most wonderful caring home I have been fortunate enough to encounter. As a nurse I knew what I was looking for and Nyton has exceeded all our desires. It is friendly, loving, clean, innovative, active and has incredibly caring staff. I would give it the very top of top marks.
Excellent in all areas of care and a delightful community in a lovely building.
Always very welcoming and accommodating, the home is a busy hub of love and laughter.
Nylon House Staff are dedicated and friendly, doing their very best to make everyone feel cared for, including visitors. The garden is beautiful, the setting tranquil, and the food is freshly prepared and very good.
I’ve visited Nyton Home on a number of occasions to help during special events. What stands out is the family atmosphere and a real feeling that this is a home from home for the residence and a genuine commitment to care by the staff. Having visited several other residential care homes this year I would not hesitate in recommending Nyton to others.
I have a parent who has been in Nyton now for about four years. She is extremely happy and would not even consider moving anywhere else for any reason. The staff are exceptional with their care in all aspects of what my mother requires. Whenever visiting I am always made to feel welcome and treat it as her home. I am able to have the luxury of not having to worry about her as I know that she is safe, cared for and happy......and very well fed with a wide range of menu choices each day.
My mother has consistently received excellent care in the 2 yrs+ since she moved to Nyton House. The staff are exceptionally kind, caring and professional and make every effort to engage with Mum, brighten her day and help her with whatever she may need. Her care needs have increased considerably over the past year and the staff cope admirably with these challenges. I have always been made to feel very welcome when visiting. It is a huge comfort for us to know that she is being looked after so well.
The staff at Nyton House were extremely welcoming and caring for my grandparents during their respite stay in the home. Over the course of their months stay, they always said how excellent the food was and how everyone made them feel at home. With plenty of activities to keep them entertained and the beautiful gardens to wander through, they left feeling re-energised and would happily return should they ever need to!
Excellent care and compassion given under very stressful circumstances.
