Your mother's room has recently had a flooring upgrade and the home has been assessed for further areas of refurbishment. If you would like to discuss any concerns with medication administration please get in touch with the home manager who will be happy to meet with you to look at this. I am pleased to hear that your mother enjoys being at the home and feels at home.

Andreea joined us towards the end of 2024 and brings a wealth of experience and a passion for care to her role.
She began her nursing career overseas before moving to the UK in 2014 and has quickly progressed to lead our wonderful team. Andreea is focused on creating a home-from-home environment that supports each resident to be involved in decision making, event planning and to continue to pursue their hobbies and interests.
Amber joined Athena Care Homes in May 2024, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a heartfelt passion for supporting families and future residents. Her genuine dedication to guiding families through the important journey of finding the right home for their loved ones is what makes her role so fulfilling.

Claudia ensures that the residents are involved in the planning of the activity calendars and encourage residents to continue with the hobbies that they have enjoyed throughout their lives. Every resident is supported to try new things.
Dawn has worked at Langdon House for years and takes pride in keeping the home immaculate at all times.
Leading the way through the best possible example, Dawn is responsible for the high standards of cleanliness throughout the home. Alongside her Housekeeping role, Dawn is hugely supportive of the care and Lifestyle teams and regularly gets involved in activities around the home.
Rosie has worked as a carer for many years before moving into the administration side of care.
Rosie's friendly team are the first people you meet on arrival at Langdon House and are always on hand to help with any questions that residents and families have.
In his role, Dave strives to ensure that every corner of Langdon House is not just functional but also safe and comfortable for everyone who calls it home. Whether it's fixing a leaky tap or ensuring the heating system runs smoothly, he takes pride in his work, knowing that it contributes to the well-being of our residents.
Dave finds the work incredibly rewarding and loves seeing the smiles on residents' faces makes all the hard work absolutely worthwhile.
