The Beeches

We have been extremely pleased with the exceptional care Nanny has received since moving to The Beeches in June 2018. The manager is so approachable and all staff are friendly and helpful towards family and cannot do enough for Nanny.

The Beeches is an amazing care home. Such a relief that my mother has a dedicated team of carers to help her with everyday needs. I have spent quite a few hours at different times of the day and they always show their empathy and understanding to every resident. They encourage the residents and ensure they have fluids and assist those requiring help at meal times with extreme patience. They take time to answer questions from families with explanations even when under pressure. The food and drinks are very appetising (they always ask if family require food or drinks) The rooms are comfortable, clean and everywhere smells fresh and clean. Very high standards of care definitely outstanding.

They are marvellous!

This home is absolutely outstanding, my mother has been in the home for eighteen months and has settled in so well. This would have only been possible because of the fantastic care she has had. All of the staff are wonderful and will always go that extra mile to help.

Having been in this care home two and a half years, I regard this place as my home. Staff are helpful and caring and nothing is too much trouble. Personal care and attention is very good, with hairdressing services available on a weekly basis.

My mother has been a resident for just four months and is a different woman due to the care and attention given to her by the manager and with every member of staff. The facility is of the utmost level for any care home that I have been to before and only too pleased we found it.

The care is good on the whole. Food could be better. Entertainment varies, some very good, others mediocre. Hairdressing service good.

Location in the countryside which I am used to.

I am very happy here with my friends. Staff are very good to us. Staff are very friendly and helpful. My room is very clean and tidy. The food is alright, would like different menu changes or special nights e.g. Fish and chips. Entertainment is brilliant. Love the singers and Power Hoop classes. Would like to go out in garden with assistance. Love having my hair done weekly.

I am very happy with mum stay at The Beeches and with all the staff helping. This is the best care home around.

Mum is cared for very well, always clean, well fed. All staff seem to love her as she can be a nightmare and her face always lights up when one appears. Overall, we are very grateful to all of them and we feel very humble that we don't do it ourselves. We are always made very welcome by all when we visit.

I am very happy living at The Beeches. I have a beautiful room with lovely views. The staff are kind and always happy to help me. The staff are used to me and know how to help and when to help. I have everything I need here and my family who visit regularly are always made very welcome.

I made my own decision of coming to The Beeches as I was lonely and couldn't manage by myself and I'm sure I made the right choice as I am happy here with lots of nice company and know I will be looked after if the occasion arises.

Surroundings are pleasant, no odours, very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. I don't think I could find a better care home for my wife.

My Aunt and Uncle have received excellent care since they entered the home in July this year. All staff, without exception, have been so thoughtful, kind and professional. My uncle died on the 26th August. During the days up until his death, everyone was so kind and helpful to him, my Aunt and all relatives who were sitting with him. My aunt so appreciated that, during the afternoon of the 26th, all staff who were leaving for the weekend came into to talk to and comfort her.

It is not an easy job and I must state that at no time have I ever seen any member of staff treating a resident with anything but patience, care and a touch of humour.

It's a lovely place to live, lots going on each day and I feel safe here. Food is good and all the staff are brilliant.
