We are surprised and disappointed by this review as Alison was so complimentary when leaving Oaklands with her mother and hugged both the deputy manager and senior on duty. In the two months since, the family has never contacted the home to raise any complaints or concerns. Moreover, there is no record of her mother having a urinary tract infection (UTI) while she was with us. Our records show she was offered and received personal care daily. We would like to offer the family the opportunity to talk over their experience with us.
Please let us know whether that would be something you would consider.
Thank you so much for your positive review. The staff team will be delighted to learn that their care for your wife was so greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your positive comments. We will be sure to pass them on to our great staff team.
Thank you for your kind review. It is pleasing to learn that your Mum's transition has been an easy one for her (and for you). We will be sure to pass your comments on to the staff team as they are always pleased to be recognised for their efforts.

Staff member's profile info: I started my career in health and social care 20 years ago, in a small Nursing home that was then bought out by Kingsley Healthcare. I worked for Kingsley Healthcare in different settings until 2018, where I wished to progress in my role and started my journey in care home management. I am very happy to have rejoined the Kingsley team last year as deputy manager at Oaklands. I have experience in Nursing, Dementia and complex care, and I enjoy sharing my gained skills and knowledge with the team at Oaklands. Oaklands is a beautiful home, with wonderful grounds, gardens communal spaces. The warm welcome I have received since joining the team is a real credit to the company's values and culture of the home.
