The staff are very caring and attentive. My friend seems very well cared for and is always clean and tidy. The home has undergone a refurbishment and is looking lovely. We are happy that my friend is in such a lovely place.

My mother came to Shalom in February under difficult circumstances for her. The home welcomed her (card and present) and coped magnificently with her problem. She was lovingly cared for right up to the end.

After it's recent refurbishment the home is in tip-top condition. A very big thank you to the manager and all the staff on behalf of all our family.

My mothers care has been very good. Now with poorer health, needs more care, one to one nursing when moved around, needs help with food. Staff very good, they work very hard and care.

Overall Experience

My wife has been a resident in the above home for about 18 months, She appears to be well settled and content there. She is allowed maximum freedom to wander around the home commensurate with her safety. There is a good family atmosphere and the staff are totally dedicated in and very caring. They obviously all get on well together, which is important for the residents well being. A new manager has recently been appointed and she now has already introduced a number of improvements, such as regular chiropody and manicure sessions and an enhanced programme of activities and entertainment.
