The atmosphere is lovely. I like their rooms they arrange lots of activities including poetry reading which is wonderful. I have recommended the home to several people. My relation is second cousin also lives at Shalom Care Home he looks well cared for.

My mothers care has been very good. Now with poorer health, needs more care, one to one nursing when moved around, needs help with food. Staff very good, they work very hard and care.

My wife has been a resident in the above home for about 18 months, She appears to be well settled and content there. My wife has been a resident in the above home for about 18 months, She appears to be well settled and content there. She is allowed maximum freedom to wander around the home commensurate with her safety. There is a good family atmosphere and the staff are totally dedicated in and very caring. They obviously all get on well together, which is important for the residents well being. A new manager has recently been appointed and she now has already introduced a number of improvements, such as regular chiropody and manicure sessions and an enhanced programme of activities and entertainment.
