Wyndham House is a beautiful old manor house set in the Norfolk countryside in the small village of North Wootton just outside the ancient market town of Kings Lynn.

Perfectly situated the home is only seven miles from Sandringham and fourteen miles from the popular seaside resort of Hunstanton.

Wyndham House can accommodate up to forty-one residents offering a high standard of quality dementia care. The home offers the flexibility of respite care, short breaks and permanent care.

All bedrooms are fully en suite, some with patio doors leading onto the beautifully landscaped garden areas. There is also every opportunity to personalise bedrooms with own treasured possessions.

There is a varied and exciting social calendar of events and activities throughout the home to stimulate and create a sense of wellbeing and independence.

I have found the staff at Wyndham House very caring and helpful. Although it is upsetting that I am unable to care for Mum at home, I am pleased that the carers and staff make Mum's placement as good as I could hope for. I was also very grateful for the time the senior staff spent helping me secure
funding. I would recommend the home to anyone.

My father was in the late stages of Alzheimer's disease when he became a resident. At home, he had become confused, upset and a danger to all. Days after moving to the care home it was as if the light came back to his eyes. He was usually smiling and definitely became part of life again. I have nothing
but praise for all the staff and will be forever grateful to them for looking after my father so well.

Very pleased with my wife's stay, she was very happy each visit we made. My family noted that she settled down well. The food is good, the cook in charge is a credit to the company, she wanted to help. The carer on the floor very kind during my wife's 14 days stay, she was well looked after, always
clean and well presented.

Wyndham House has a lovely, friendly and homely atmosphere. The staff are attentive to the needs of residents and are welcoming towards visitors. They have a great activities coordinator who knows what individuals can achieve and enjoy doing. Staff generally keep on top of personal care needs and ensure
that residents are treated with dignity. Given that my father is now in a state of advanced dementia I would say that the staff do as good a job as can be expected of them. I have no worries about his care in Wyndham House.

Staff are always friendly and helpful, having laughs and conversations with Mum, and are always friendly towards her. She is well cared for, supported and given encouragement.
My Dad, myself and all my family that visit are made welcome and we are kept well informed about how my Mum is doing.
The
meals are very good home cooked meals and the staff do their best to make sure the residents have their meals whatever time is convenient for them, if Mum has been sleeping during the day, she is given her meals to suit her waking hours.
Staff were quick to help when we requested a downstairs room and although still requires a little painting, we and Mum are very pleased with the quick response and with the room, she has now.
We are very pleased with Wyndham House and would highly recommend them to anyone who has to make, as we did, the extremely hard decision to place Mum who has dementia, in a care home where she is in a safe, caring environment offering 24-hour care and all the help she needs around her.

I find the staff at the home very professional and they are always available to talk to me about my mother's well being.
When I phone, they are quick to answer and provide a phone so I can speak to my Mum.
When I visit, the house is very clean and my Mum is always dressed and sitting in the lounge.

My mother has been in Wyndham House Care for nearly two months and so far she has been extremely happy with the care provided. All the staff are very friendly and caring towards all the residents. Very impressed with the social activities and my mum is always very happy when we visit.

I personally find Wyndham House Care a very comfortable environment for my mum. The overall care, kindness and dignity my mum gets is 10/10. There are a few points I would like to make, sometimes activities for the residents are slightly disorganised, ie wrong dates for Christmas activities when other
family members have travelled a long way only to find that days activities are different or cancelled. Residents clothing could have more care, ie could have more care, ie untidy drawers wardrobe. My mum had four pairs of jeans shrunk in the wash and as a former caterer is it really necessary to serve frozen veg? Otherwise, the care mum gets from all the lovely carers, I cannot fault.

My stepmother was moved into Wyndham House by social workers just before Christmas 2016. At first, she found it difficult to adjust as she has always been very independent. My husband and I found the staff very caring and understanding, both to my stepmother and us (as of course, it was a new situation
for us too)
She has now settled well and seems quite happy to be looked after.
Staff are very caring and always seem ready to help and comfort any resident who is upset or unsure of anything.

I visited the home regularly. I would say that I am always greeted by smiling faces. The residents always look happy and contented. The home is warm and inviting. We visit most weeks and enjoy lunch or tea with our friend it is always presented lovely.

I visited the home yesterday. I was greeted with a friendly team. Lots of activities going on Champagne truffle making to name but one. Good atmosphere lots going on and the afternoon tea look very nice.

I went to Wyndham House to visit with a view to a volunteer placement as I had a friend living at Wyndham House. I was really impressed with the homely feel and how at ease all the staff appear with all the residents. There was a lot of laughter and high spirits, It made me want to offer some help and

Visited a long standing family friend recently at Wyndham House. I was made to feel very welcome even enjoyed a lunch provided by the home. My friend looked really tidy and settled in her home. I stayed for a couple of hours and staff asked on several occasions if myself or my friend needed anything.

I visited the home recently to visit with my partners grandmother. I talked with the Manager who really put me and my partner's mind at rest about the progression of his grandmother's dementia diagnosis. I visited my Granddad recently at Wyndham House Care Home. My Granddad has a keen interest in trains and this interest was addressed in the activities on offer. We talked in his room and then he showed me around the home everyone I saw was friendly and helpful with the residents and families etc.
