The care home is a wonderful place, with excellent staff and management team. They have kept us updated of what our loved ones are doing during the pandemic.

Food is good. Staff are lovely. Lots to do. High standards. Local people I like.

Before my Dad moved into Wyndham House he was depressed and had fallen on many occasions. Whilst at Wyndham House his mood has been lifted, he has not fallen and I am confident that he is being kept safe. Recently Dad has needed palliative care and as I have visited regularly, I have seen how caring and attentive the staff are. They know the residents and understand their individual needs. The atmosphere is lovely and I hear residents being treated with dignity and respect. The manager is very hands-on and I am so happy that Dad came here.

The food is very good (5 star, 4 star). Excellent accommodation. 5 stars all round.

It is enjoyable. I like it. Very nice.

My mother lived at Wyndham house for over six years until she passed away in February this year. During the last two years of her life, she became totally dependent for all her needs on the staff at the care home. For the most part, she was unable to converse with her carers and it was clear her “team” were very sensitive to her requirements and as time progressed, those close to her seemed to know exactly what she needed. My Mum would have appreciated the dignity they afforded her at all times which I found a great relief, during this worrying stage of her life. Sadly, covid prevented my regular visits for many weeks, but I felt relieved that she was in safe hands. For the last six months of her life, my visits resumed as she was put on to end of life care. It was during this difficult time, that it became even more apparent that my mother was being cared for in a loving and kind environment and the staff were so kind to me as well. My grateful thanks to every member of the team.

My sister and I would like to express our thanks to all the staff at Wyndham House during this very difficult time of lockdown. Mum has been a resident since December 2019, and although she has advanced dementia, they have obviously worked very hard to help her settle in and the improvement in her is obvious. Although we have been unable to visit since March, we have had regular contact with staff and are confident Mum is being very well looked after.

I would like to give my full appreciation to all the members of staff at Wyndham House Care Home for their dedication, care and first-class attention to my husband over the past 15 months. during his time at Wyndham House, he was looked after by his carers and I am sure during that time he felt very close and happy to be under their care. He enjoyed the Friday music session, joining in as best he could. Thank you to everyone for making his final days with you peaceful, as he passed away. A big thank you also to the caring team, the housekeeping team, and maintenance.

In this most difficult time once again Wyndham House has done all they can to support and keep all their residents and staff well. They have set up skype so families can keep in contact with their loved ones. They have sent pictures via Whatsapp and keep families informed by phone, all of which has added to their workload. They have worked selflessly in these uncertain times when support from government was not how it should have been. I like to thank them all.

My father was very happy at Wyndham House Care Home for the 15 months he lived there. The staff took great care of him treating him with total respect and empathy, even on his last days of his life he was given such good care and also letting my mother and myself in to be with my dad and giving us good care as well. We will always recommend Wyndham House Care Home.

I feel that I can call any time and am given honest feedback on how she is doing. It was a difficult period for my mum, first moving from home to hospital and then subsequently to Wyndham. I really appreciate all the physical and emotional support you have given us at this difficult time; it has made these transitions easier.
