I attended 20/06/26 when there was a summer fete. It was a really enjoyable day, well planned and well executed. All the Residents looked really happy and i know my Mum had a great time. The stimulation and socialisation is really good for my Mum, with her dementia. The staff were FANTASTIC and really
threw themselves into all the activities with such positive energy

Highfield House Care Home

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
I had a lovely room and am looked after very well indeed. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, and communication between them is excellent - changes are passed on and all runs smoothly. The food is very, very good. I am vegetarian and am offered choices every day. I have only been here for a few
weeks, but the staff are friendly, kind and helpful. They all 'pass the time of day' and always ask if thre is anything I need - but they also understand and respect that I like to be quiet most of the time. This is a very big change to my life but, if I can't be at home, I feel lucky to be here.
Reply from Natalie Gray, Registered Manager at Highfield House Care HomeThank you for your kind words, John.
We feel incredibly fortunate that you chose Highfield House, and it means so much to us to hear that you are happy here. Moving into a care home is a significant life change, and we are delighted that we have been able to help make that transition a positive one for you.

We pride ourselves on treating everyone with kindness, dignity, and respect, so it is especially pleasing to know that you feel listened to, well cared for, and able to enjoy the peace and quiet that is important to you.
Thank you for recognising the friendliness and dedication of our staff. They genuinely care about the people who live here and will be thrilled to know that their efforts have made such a positive difference to your experience.
We are delighted to have you as part of the Highfield House family and look forward to supporting you for many happy years to come.

My husband has lived at The Paddocks for over a year and has been really happy and content. He is bedridden. The carers are so kind and patient and he responds with chatter and smiles. He is quite poorly at the moment and the staff have been exceptional with him to keep him comfortable. They have been
spoon feeding him drinks and finding food he can enjoy and swallow. I'd also like to praise the new manager who listens and acts upon what is said and the staff seem very happy under her guidance.

My experience has been largely very positive. The staff are amazing, they genuinely care and are dedicated to their work.
The facilities are good but it would be nice if the garden was accessible.
I do wonder sometimes if the resident/carer ratio is adequate.
Food is good.
Staff and management are
always available.
Reply from Michelle Freebairn, General Manager at Wyndham House Care HomeGood Morning Lesley thank you for your feedback. It is with great pleasure I'm able to give you an extremely good overall experience of my feelings at Wyndham Care Home and staff. I have always been exceptionally well treated and respected, as has my wife, who has dementia.
As for the cost of Wyndham Care Home in comparison to other care homes in
the area, all are quite expensive, so I am informed by friends, hence the reason I put satisfactory, unable to make my own opinion.

I was initially apprehensive about leaving mum in respite care as this was her first time away, and it was quite soon after dad passed away. All the staff were very wecoming and reassuring, from organising the placement and looking after mum, while she was here. I found it was a lovely atmosphere in
the care home, and very caring.
Reply from Roxana Safta, General Manager at Lincoln House Care HomeThank you for your lovely review. Mum has been very happy living at Lincoln House since she arrived four months ago. Due to the kind and conscientious care from the staff, and a good healthy diet, she has gone from strength to strength, both physically and mentally.
She finds the staff genuinely friendly and helpful, and thrives on
the interaction she has with them.

The home has a friendly, homely feel to it and is very welcoming towards visitors.
Mum is comfortable in her room, loves having her hair and nails done, and appreciates the entertainment offered.

Contact and communication from the admin and nursing teams has been extremely efficient and informative and I have nothing but praise, admiration and gratitude for the quality of care mum receives from everyone at Lincoln House. I would not hesitate to recommend it as a happy place to live.

I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at Lincoln house. My mum was there on end of life care and choosing Lincoln House was the best decision my brother and I made. They were able to move mum in quickly with no issues at all which was a huge relief. The staff genuinely cared for mum, made her feel

The experience with St. John's was excellent. As a large portion of my brother's family was in the USA and as such unable to visit, the home had to fill in for us which they did much better than we deserved. We were made to feel like we were part of the home family and we got great support while we
were there for his last days.
Staff members even attended his funeral which was heart warming.
Thankyou to everyone who was involved in his care.
