Fees are subject to a pre-admission needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level
of care and support required by each individual. Premium rooms normally require an additional charge.
Nursing fees include the Funded Nursing Contribution (FNC) if you are eligible. There are no additional fees
for respite stays.

other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

Clean, comfortable and welcoming environment. Staff were helpful and polite.
Pleasant and comfortable seating areas. Staff were visible at all times.
Residents looked clean, happy and well cared for.

My mother-in-law has settled well into the home over the last 18months. The staff are friendly, approachable and caring. Their communication is excellent, we feel that she is safe and well looked after. She feels Davers Court is now her home.

My mother passed away recently in West Suffolk Hospital. She had been in Davers Court for several years. The treatment she had from the carers and other staff was exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble. All aspects of care were handled in a kind, prompt and friendly manner.
I would have no hesitation
in recommending Davers Court.

The Davers Court team have been extremely helpful and understanding of my father-in-law's care needs. They have provided excellent, sensitive care. The home is very clean, well planned with excellent facilities. The staff are all kind and caring and make him feel very comfortable. The management team

My father has been a resident for nearly 2 years. He died on Sunday 28th of May. His care has been full of kindness, patience and love. The care in his last few days went way beyond any duty. My dad, myself and my sister think of them as extended family. This applied to all the departments but especially
The Vines unit.
The food was very good, his personal care and hygiene was always spot on also. Always someone talking and joking with the residents. The cleanliness was very good as well.

My father moved in when Davers Court was newly completed.
The care received from the staff has been wonderful.
The food has been just right and the cleanliness excellent as he made bad messes.
In his last few days, everyone went beyond what we expected to make sure he was comforted and not left alone.

My father was a resident at Davers Court Care UK home on Vine Unit for two years.
In all that time I never had any cause for concern or complaint.
The room was always clean and kept in good condition.
Staff were always friendly and informative.
Sadly my father passed away at the home.
The staff
made sure it was peaceful and comfortable.
As a family, we could not have wished for a better ending to my father's life.
Full marks to all the staff and management.

I would be very happy to recommend Davers Court to anyone whose elderly relative needs care. My mother was there for just over a year before she passed away peacefully at the age of 97. During that year mum was always cared for in a personal homely way. She couldn't have been better looked after. I
visited daily and was always welcomed by the cheerful staff and saw nothing but happy, hardworking team of carers. They couldn't do enough for my mum and in her last hours sat with her and even came in on their day off to kiss her goodbye. They supported me too just when I needed it. A fabulous care home and highly recommended.

My husband was put into a hospital rehab bed straight from hospital at the home. He stayed about 4 weeks. I visited almost every day, sometimes with our dog and sometimes with my daughter. We were always made welcome.
We observed the care of my husband and were very impressed with the professionalism
and detail of care. The staff were always kind and compassionate, showing immense patience and cheerfulness with my sometimes confused and grumpy husband.
The room was very nice with an en-suite. The home itself is very attractive with it's many special attractions ie. barber, cinema, coffee shop. I would recommend it.

Abhilash Gopi

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2025

I am passionate about providing meaningful care to older people and ensuring that we make a positive impact on residents’ lives.


I have been a home manager for eight years and have a BSc Hons. in nursing, as well as a level five in health and social care. I chose to join Care UK because of its values and ethos.


In my role, you need to be patient, have good listening and communication skills, and be understanding. Being calm in any situation helps too.


I think my favourite part of the day is the morning. It’s a time when we can decide what to prioritise and how to approach the day.


A lot of moments stand out for me as highlights. I helped achieve an ‘outstanding’ rating for another Care UK home in 2021. I’m also proud to be able to support colleagues and share the knowledge I’ve learned over the years. It’s all about improving care and standards for the better so residents can benefit.


Outside of work, I captain a local cricket team. I also enjoy reading and spending time with my family. My wife is also a nurse, and we have three children so life is wonderful and busy.
