Fees are subject to a pre-admission needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level
of care and support required by each individual. Premium rooms normally require an additional charge.
Nursing fees include the Funded Nursing Contribution (FNC) if you are eligible. There are no additional fees
for respite stays.

other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

Davers Court is the most wonderful place, my mother is os very happy there, the staff are kind efficient and will do anything to help. The staff are dedicated to the job, if I was ill I would go into Davers at the drop of a hat, you won't find better care anywhere.

As the wife of a resident, I appreciate the care and concern provided to me along with my husband. With no local family available it is difficult to keep emotional levels to a good state. They look after us both to on a family level. They keep me in a family atmosphere.

I am a stroke survivor living locally to Bury St Edmunds with my wife who is also my primary carer. At least once per annum she needs and deserves a complete break from those duties and having had a completely satisfactory respite break in 2018 at Davers Court, have been delighted to be allowed back
for a similar break this year. My impressions last year were of a professionally run and managed home with more than just capable and well-motivated staff, but one where everyone owns the culture of caring that bit extra and going the extra mile.

Carers always encourage mum to join in with all activities, Holy Communion, etc. This is good for mum as she continues to lose the use of speaking, so watching and 'doing' is good for her. One particular carer/leader is always extremely supportive and helpful to me, never pushy, the same everytime we
communicate; wonderful person! Saying that, there are a lot of you carers that are very good!

My Mother was one of the first residents at Davers Court until her recent passing. The home manager is an incredible force and her steadfast support over the years, and especially in the weeks before Mum's passing, was greatly appreciated by her family. We have seen Davers transform into a first-rate
care home with the manager's considerable knowledge and experience in her field. We were blessed to be surrounded by the most loving, dedicated and hardworking team of carers any family could ask for. They made all the difference in the world to not just my Mother's life, but also in the days leading to her passing. Our heartfelt thanks to all the management, carers and staff.

My wife had not used respite care previously. She came for two weeks while I was away. I was a little concerned as to how all would work and all went well, no very well. My wife had many visitors and they all reported how splendid Davers Court is and how kind and caring the staff are and how relaxed

I found all the staff very efficient and caring. The transaction from moving dad to the home went very smoothly. They catered for all his needs and this is ongoing. Dad decided to stay.

Since arriving at Davers Court my 95 year old mother has shown a vast improvement in all respects of her health. For the first two weeks, she wouldn't venture out of her room, she is now walking to the lounge and socialising with other residents and taking her meals in the dining room.
The staff have
been kind, helpful and supportive and my mother has most definitely benefitted from this care. She appears to be very happy and settled into her new home.

The home is the most friendly and caring place. I have worked in previous homes and Davers Court stands out miles in front. The staff from admin to maintenance are the most approachable and caring people. Mother in Law went into respite and is now a resident. We know she will have the best of everything.

The transition for my elderly "auntie" from sheltered accommodation to a care home could not have been better managed. In November 2017 I transferred a frail and poorly elderly lady into Davers Court and in 5 weeks she has become almost unrecognisable.
Due to the excellent care, quality of food and
happy environment this 98-year-old is looking forward to her 100th birthday, it is a pleasure to visit and has no complaints. We are all truly grateful to the management and staff of Davers Court.

My beloved mother was in here for a very short time 25th July - 6th October but during her time everyone but everyone went above and beyond their call of duty. The staff were absolutely phenomenal in every respect.


During my mother's last days, the manager and her staff bent over backwards to make

our time with my mother as comfortable as possible. I cannot praise them enough. It helped make everything more bearable if that is possible at such a time. We cannot thank them enough.
