I found the carers and the current manager kind and very accommodating, especially in times of Covid. They followed all the guidelines given and even put on a birthday party with a fabulous cake and a picnic for my mothers birthday outside so we could celebrate with her. My mother passed away recently, and the home gave us all time and space to be with her when she passed. My mother was very happy at Spring Lodge, and the staff were a delight.

Today, I and my family were provided with a wonderful opportunity to visit our mother at Spring Lodge. Six of us were able to celebrate mum's birthday with a wonderful picnic spread and the most delicious birthday cake outside in the garden.

It was a lovely afternoon, and so good to see Mum outside getting fresh air, family and the staff were wonderful. My mum's favourite carer came out and chatted with us.

I really can not fault the care that Mum receives at Spring Lodge. She is safe, warm and loved.

Cannot praise the staff and environment enough! My mother suffered a traumatic relocation to Suffolk and into residential care. Huge changes for an elderly person in the midst of Covid. Staff have been patient and so caring, with family as well as her! It’s such a pleasure to see her supported properly with dignity and respect. Staff show an interest in her life and encourage her to socialise. We look forward to visits as restrictions ease and know how welcome we will be.

Great staff and facilities, they look after my father extremely well. They have gone above and beyond during the pandemic - safe visiting area and loads for my father to do each week. They have catered for his needs which we couldn't due to his Dementia.

I have recommended Spring Lodge to friends and family if they are looking for a well run, friendly, well organised and clean care home for their loved ones. I have also recommended the home to friends and family looking for jobs in care homes. All the staff are lovely and take great care to ensure residents have plenty of entertainment and social interaction; and take time to ensure they are safe and secure and to talk to them. In these difficult times, the home has kept us fully informed at all times and I would like to thank everyone for their hard work and dedication.

I am very happy with Spring Lodge care home. They do an amazing job and look after my mum very well. The only complaint I have is that they do not contact me when anything changes or anything happens to my mum. They always contact my brother and he doesn't tell me anything because we don't get on. I've asked the home on several occasions to phone me when something happens but they don't. Other than that I am very happy.

Since dad started showing signs of Vascular Dementia and Alzheimer's, Spring Lodge care home has been absolutely amazing in giving him back his dignity and quality of life in a welcoming and safe care home environment. My brother and I are thankful every day for the wonderful staff and excellent care dad receives. As I live abroad, it is essential to know dad is safe and happy.

Staff always give dignity to my mother. On all of my visits, the staff seem to treat all residents well and ask visitors if there is anything we would like to bring to their attention.

Mum smiles a lot at the activities.

Our mother has been in Spring lodge for approximately 15 months.

We have nothing but praise and thanks for the care and support given to our mother.

The staff go the extra mile every day and try to make the residents' lives enjoyable and fun with lots of activities and visits to nearby places when suitable.

Our mother feels safe and well cared for and her mental well being has improved dramatically since living there.

Well done to everyone who works there and keep up the good work.

The staff are caring and friendly, since moving into the home my aunt's health has improved greatly, she has even managed to put on some weight. My aunt has settled really well and is very happy and comfortable, making some new friends. Our family no longer worry about her wellbeing as she is happy, well fed, clean and no longer cold and frightened of being alone.

Mum has been in Spring Lodge for around 9 months so far. The care she receives is superb. She is not the easiest of people but all the staff are very upbeat about her. The compassion, care, food and general care is by far way above her respite care home that was supposed to be 5 star. Whenever I visit Mum, whatever time of day, she is clean and well fed. Her bed linen changed regularly and all staff on duty have a chat and make me feel welcome. Fantastic place.

Spring Lodge staff are caring and have a genuine interest in the residents.
Pleasant, cheerful atmosphere when you visit.

Communication with relatives has improved recently regarding what is going on in the home and the direction it is taking. Would be good if relatives were included more in a resident's care and care plan.
