Both my parents were taken into St Breocj home together in February 2020 and remained there together until my mum passed away in January 2021. My dad will remain in the home until her will sadly pass away. They have been very happy there, and all the staff and carers have been brilliant. They have been cared for wonderfully - my mum particularly enjoyed all the company. From my point of view, as the daughter, it has been a difficult time for the 12-months with Covid restrictions and visiting arrangements.

Dad has been at St Breock for just over four years now. We have been delighted with the care that the team has given - not to just dad - but to all our family. They all work so hard and we can't thank them enough for caring for Dad.

All staff have been helpful, polite, informative and caring. My questions are always answered, and any problems Mum has are dealt with promptly, and she is constantly reviewed as she increasingly needs help. I can't thank St Breock enough for caring for my precious Mum, and above all, keeping her safe.

A caring environment centred in the community where local primary school comes to visit and sing. The staff make an effort to help ensure that each resident has support, dignity and feel valued and included. It has been a tough Covid year, and St Breock has been exemplary in keeping the residents safe whilst also trying to ensure that the family maintain as much contact with the resident as possible with garden visits etc. Dementia is a tough illness, but I trust that St Breock keeps my dad safe and try to ensure that some of his personality and interest are encouraged and maintained.

Nothing too much trouble. I am so pleased to know that my husband is well looked after. It is a very difficult time at the moment for all the staff and residents, but it is amazing how well they have coped.

As we live in East Kent we are unlikely to know anyone else in Cornwall therefore, unable to recommend. We are, however, very satisfied with the care my sister receives and would be very likely to recommend St Breock if we were nearer.

My mother is treated with care, dignity and patience especially when mother is in a difficult frame of mind due not only to her age but her dementia.

We wouldn't be able to manage mother in our home and are pleased and grateful she gets the care and love she deserves.

My brother had to move homes about 5 years ago and was worried about it, he needed more care. He moved to St Breock and has been extremely happy there. He enjoys the activities and the lovely caring staff. It is a happy place.

Until recently Feb 2019 mother has been relatively independent but now she has lost that. Her needs have changed and the staff at St Breock are managing her needs very well. Mother is very challenging at times and I think the staff are very patient. We are kept well informed. Thank you.

My mother had been in 2 other homes previous to St Breock, I can honestly say how much my mum has settled down. The carers are so helpful and as I visit my mum, I listen and watch them empathising with the other residents. The home is clean and friendly with a welcoming smile at the reception. The manager and assistant manager are very quick in helping anyone that has a problem.

All staff are very helpful and caring. Food is good. Staffing changes have met with more agency staff at weekends who are not as familiar with residents which is unfortunate.
