My dad has recently become a resident at one of your care homes. He has been quite distressed. The staff have been and are amazing! They show understanding, kindness, compassion and are very welcoming to us, his family. But there are not enough of them. For their well-being and the well-being of the residents, more staff are needed, and the ones you have should be valued! At times, it can be upsetting for them.
Thank you for taking the time to provide a review. It is great to hear that your dad is settling in and that the staff have been so supportive. We would like to reassure you that the Home is appropriately staffed, but we take on board your comments and understand that at times, due to sickness and vacancies, staffing can be a challenge.
I have always been made so welcome and, very much feel part of the Trecarrel family.
My Mum has resided at Trecarrel for 8 years, and in that time I cannot fault the level of her care. I can leave Mum knowing she is getting the best care I could have wished for.
Thank you to the wonderful people who make Trecarrel such a wonderful home for the residents.
Thank you for this lovely review. The Manager and Team at Trecarrel Care Home very much appreciate you taking the time to write this.
Trecarrel Home has excellent facilities. Modern, light and airy. The staff go above and beyond their duty. Every staff member was polite and professional. They gave the home a 'homely' feel. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Cannot praise them highly enough. The catering was exceptional. Well done to you all.
My sister is very well looked after.

From the moment you enter Trecarrel you feel at ease. The staff are all friendly and professional. The menu is amazing and varied. The rooms are basic but clean and tidy. There is always something to do, I would recommend Trecarrel to anyone!
Thank you for the review. Your positive feedback is very much appreciated by the team at Trecarrel Care Home.
I have so much peace of mind seeing Mum safe and settled at Trecarrel. The staff are friendly, welcoming and caring. Due to risk of falls Mum has pressure mats and I am notified whenever she falls. Her lovely, personalised ensuite room is always clean and tidy, and when I left her today, she was sitting in a sunny lounge with other residents, enjoying a sing-along accompanied by a keyboard player. I am reassured that any worries I have about Mum - her placement, her well-being or even the admin, are always addressed in a re-assuring and honest way. I'm glad Mum was referred to Trecarrel. It took her about 10 weeks to settle but she seems 'at home' now. Thank you!

I am thankful that my mother was able to become a resident of Trecarrel for the last 4 and a half years. I have always been relieved when visiting that she is so well cared for by all the carers and staff, who are genuinely pleased to be looking after her. Whenever I think of Mum, even in the middle of the night, I know she is safe, warm and regularly checked on. We are always informed of any health worries immediately. Her room is always clean, as is Mum and her clothes.
Thank you for the positive review. Your feedback is much appreciated by the team at Trecarrel.
Clean, friendly home with kind, attentive staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Senior staff are on the ball, if there are any medical issues they are always dealt with quickly and we are always notified. So we have no worries about our loved one's care.

Trecarrel has been my mother's home for the past 5 years. She has been cared for with love and kindness. The staff are friendly and the care and love she receives are always excellent. The residents all appear happy and the atmosphere is always very good.
Thank you for your time in sending us this review. We are so happy that we meet the needs of you and your mum in our care.
I would like to thank all the staff at Trecarrel Care Home for the way they look after my 97-year-old mum. They have made her stay there so happy as they all go out of their way to make sure she gets the care she deserves. They all take the time even though they are very busy to laugh and talk with her. We are delighted to think she is in such good hands. Thank you.
Thank you for the lovey review. The team at Trecarrel Care Home appreciate the positive feedback.
My wife and I both resent her being in a care home, admittedly out of necessity, with needs beyond care at home. Trecarrel have made this separation bearable with their kindness and professionalism, to my wife and to me. I have felt well supported and I believe my wife does too. Short of miracles, Trecarrel could do no more and although I would not have chosen Trecarrel as a placement I am pleased that it was chosen for me. The building is clean, tidy and comfortable but the high standards come from the staff group at every level. Thank you to all. may your excellent work continue.
Thank you for the review. The team at Trecarrel Care Home appreciate your feedback.
I have no complaints during my weekly visits. The receptionist is always polite and helpful and the carers likewise. My relative is content and seems happy with the environment within the home.
Thank you for the review. The team at Trecarrel really appreciate your feedback.
Always clean and tidy, friendly staff all willing to answer any questions, providing seating for relatives. Nice and secure to keep residents safe. Food always looks and smells amazing. Relatives room is always kept clean and tidy. Windows open to air. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone. Love the regular entertainment.
Thank you for the review. Your positive feedback is much appreciated by the team at Trecarrel.
I cannot thank all the staff enough at Trecarrel care home for the care and affection they all gave to my mum in the two years she was in their care. No matter how difficult she was with her dementia, they cared for her with the utmost respect and dignity. Her wellbeing was always their priority.
Thank you very much for your review. The feedback is very helpful to us and appreciated by the Team at Trecarrel.
We are really pleased with the care provided at Trecarrel. All the staff are friendly and very helpful. The care mum receives us second to none. She is treated with dignity and respect. The staff genuinely care for the residents and they have kept us informed and up to date all through the pandemic. It has been a huge relief to the family that Mum has been kept safe and happy in Trecarrel.
Thank you very much for your review. The positive feedback is much appreciated by the team.
She was left to lay in the bed which we all know if you're not moved and regularly exercising then you’ll come off your feet, which in the end resulted in falling down with four carers present. How, I don’t understand. Avoid.
My mum was admitted to Trecarrel from hospital until care at her own home could be provided. She was well looked after and when I visited I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. I am very impressed at the measures that are being put in place to improve the home and I wish you all the best for the future.
