We're all really pleased that your Dad was so well looked after during his months stay and that you and the wider family were able to rest assured that he was in safe hands. Feedback such as this is really important, not least as it provides great public recognition of the hard work of our care team members whose work, as you say, is too often tarnished by the horror stories that make the news.
Mum was extremely happy and comfortable here which allowed us to leave her without worrying about her care. Manager and staff always went out of their way to accommodate Mum's wishes.

I have been in the care home for just over 12 months and during that time, I have been treated with dignity and well looked after by the kind and friendly staff. Despite their busy schedule, nothing has been too much trouble. If I need help or assistance at any time. The meals are excellent with a good variation. The recent addition of a fried breakfast (if required) once a week is proving very popular and something extra to look forward to. The laundry and cleaning services are a credit to the home. I would have no hesitation in recommending St Petroc's House Care Home to friends and family as it is a very welcoming and friendly home.

Mum came to St Petrocs House Care Home for 2 weeks respite which turned into 6 weeks! She was well cared for, all the staff were very kind and friendly and meals were excellent. Sometimes she would have liked a few more activities but she was happy to join in with most of the activities...

My mother was a resident of St Petroc's twice as a temporary resident (respite) before becoming permanent in March due to deteriorating mobility and dementia. She was made very welcome and quickly settled in despite some apprehension. She was very happy with the staff and food at all times and had a very pleasant, bright room. On the occasion that she needed a GP, the home was very prompt in arranging it and became experts at spotting problems early. As she deteriorated and became bed bound, she was kept very clean with no pressure sore issues due to good care. I unhesitatingly recommend St Petroc's and it's staff.

We are all very proud of our whole care team at St. Petrocs. This is a care home with an outstanding local reputation earned through years of consistently high-quality care provided by dedicated care team members. That said, feedback such as yours is always very much appreciated and a very welcome public acknowledgement of the hard work of the care team there.
My mum moved into permanent care in March 2016. In her last month, she was really poorly. The carers made her life as comfortable as possible. They fed her at meal times, turned her to prevent any sores and went above and beyond the normal care to help her.
