Safe and staff are friendly.
I've always been appreciative of the genuine sense of kindness shown by the care staff at St Petroc's towards Gran over the years. During the lockdown, this has become even more apparent, especially in light of all the hard work that's been done to successfully keep residents safe. The introduction of regular Skype calls has made an enormous difference, greatly adding to Gran's quality of life. She's been gently introduced to this new way of communicating by staff members who demonstrate sincere patience. It's always a pleasure seeing her looking well and clearly well taken care of. Without fail, she speaks highly of the carers at St Petroc's every time we talk.

My father became a resident in January. He loves the care and attention from the staff as he had become lonely living on his own since his wife passed away. His room is homely and spacious and he really likes the home-cooked food. It is such a relief for the family to know he is safe and so well cared for.

The reason I'm here is due to a very complicated hip operation, a one-off that can't be repeated. I have to have care and physio. On my arrival, I found very friendly staff and the manager understood my needs. The staff have been so helpful and I have very good contact with senior staff, any problems I have had they have rectified straight away. I had a couple of special requests which they have seen to. The food here is of a high standard and I have to be on a high protein diet to build me back up. They have done their best to provide all that I need. I am exceptionally happy here.

We could not have received better care then we did for my dad at St Petroc's. All staff were very friendly and helpful. On first visiting St Petroc's it had a lovely feel, a really good atmosphere. Although dad was only there for a month he improved so much due to the care and obviously the chef. We hear such horror stories about care homes but you all proved this to be one less worry for the family. Thank you.
