Mum moved into The Manor in April 2025 and has had an excellent experience with this nursing home. The staff were consistently kind, caring, and treated everyone with genuine compassion and respect. They took the time to listen, provide reassurance, and made sure residents felt comfortable and well looked after. It was clear that they truly care about the people they support. I would highly recommend this nursing home to anyone looking for a safe, welcoming, and compassionate place for their loved one.

My father was suffering from Alzheimer's disease and entered care for 8 months. The staff were always helpful to him and to me when I visited. I would recommend this care home to anyone without reservation. The residents are well cared for and the staff are attentive. Thankyou to everyone at Cross Park who looked after my father.

My mum has occasionally had visitors from the Midlands where she previously lived. Every visitor has noted that Mum appears calm and settled and have commented on the helpfulness of all the staff. Please keep up the good work Helen and congratulate the staff for a great review.

All I can say is what a wonderful care home. Everyone involved in mum's care have been amazing. Nothing is too much trouble from the cleaner to the maintance man. The cook is fantastic dealing with mum's allergies. All the staff has made it easy for me to sleep at night without stress

The care taken with him during his rapid decline with vascular dementia. The whole team were always very helpful with anything we asked for. The home has plenty of room with the lounge and the big conservatory which meant he could walk around and sit in any chair of lounge or conservatory he liked. They were never crowed. He enjoyed taking part in the actives that had been arranged. His room was where he could see the lounge and all the comings and goings along the corridor which he liked. He enjoyed his food mostly in his room preferring the sweets rather than the main course as he always had a sweet tooth. It meant a lot to us to know he was safe at Chollacott. Thank you

Lovely warm welcome from staff. Cross Park feels like "home" not a home. Residents all encouraged to be part of the community & are treated with care & respect. Mum is so lucky to have a place here. The activities are brilliant.

Wonderful team of caring staff. Mum has been here for over 4 years, and her care has been exceptional. Always friendly and helpful when I or my family visit.

My 99 yr old mum has been in Chollacott House Drake Unit for nearly 2yrs now. She settled in very well from the beginning and has been looked after with great care and attention by all the staff. They are so kind and attentive and treat the residents with care and respect. Nothing is to much trouble despite the fact they have so much work to do each day. The entertainment available is very good and inclusive to all, should they want to be involved and encourages all residents to take part if they are able. The day room is light airy & well decorated especially at xmas & other special dates. Well done to all Staff + Management at chollacott House!

A lovely, well presented home. From the moment you walk in the door you are welcomed by the lovely staff, nothing is to much trouble, they make the resident and family members feel at ease. Can't praise the staff enough x

My mum passed away at St Petrocs on the 31st May 26. I would like to pay tribute to the carers and management for their dedication and support they gave my wife and I through my mum's final days. Nothing was too much trouble, the comfort and support we received was immense. Thank you once again for caring for my mum.

My wife is treated very well and that is all that matters, my only complaint is the quality on of the food.

Mum enjoys the activities and the attention given to her. We are happy with the home and glad Mum is able to live a good life there, feeling safe and happy.

Dove Tree has shown kindness and good care towards my mother in law, the placement was initially temporary to ascertain her abilities and needs. Dove Tree are responsive, supportive, caring & kind. Sarah, the deputy manager is instrumental in supporting Mother's needs, her personality type, quirks and understandable fears and devastation she felt at the realisation that she would not return home. Sarah regularly spends time calming down repeat upsets as Mother settles and is very hands on with any concerns. She has also been extremely supportive to us as a family and advised accurately on the minefield of Local Authority processes. In general all staff are very kind and attentive. The only minor comment we would make about improvements is senior staff / Management cover over the weekend. This is not to suggest that staff lack direction on weekends (far from it ) but it is not possible to receive management led responses or reassurances over the weekend.

The biggest compliment I can give comes from my wife who has dealt with the elderly for 40+ years is very impressed with Dove Tree.

My mum has been in the care of Primrose House for just under 3 years. She has been treated with dignity and care. The bedroom is a home from home. The care team are kind, the food is amazing, and they really understand my mum's needs. I would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a new home, where you can trust in the care of your loved one.

110% world class all round. Highest recommendation, just amazing, all the staff are caring, lovely, go beyond the call of duty. I really can't praise them enough with the care they gave my mother from the moment she arrived to the moment she left. Very professional and a deep understanding of peoples different needs. Thank you to all the team.

I would like to add too, that anyone new visiting a relative or friend, should chat to everyone, it really makes a difference to get to know the staff & residents, as they are lovely. I know it can be a sensitive time, when someone moves into a care home. Thank you again

My mum has been at Bluebell House for four years this September. Her dementia is now quite advanced. I visit mum regularly and in all that time I have been impressed with the level of care that mum has received. Mum is very well cared for and I would recommend and have recommended Bluebell House to friends. The staff do an amazing job.
