Mum moved into The Manor in April 2025 and has had an excellent experience with this nursing home. The staff were consistently kind, caring, and treated everyone with genuine compassion and respect. They took the time to listen, provide reassurance, and made sure residents felt comfortable and well looked after. It was clear that they truly care about the people they support. I would highly recommend this nursing home to anyone looking for a safe, welcoming, and compassionate place for their loved one.
All I can say is what a wonderful care home. Everyone involved in mum's care have been amazing. Nothing is too much trouble from the cleaner to the maintance man. The cook is fantastic dealing with mum's allergies. All the staff has made it easy for me to sleep at night without stress

It's really nice to read that you feel our Care Team are 'very good' and 'always ready to help'. I note that you have rated three items as only 3-Stars. We are keen to always be 5 star and perhaps on occasion 4 - but never 3 or less:) Please could I ask that you talk to the Care Home Manager, Dawn, with any concerns with regards to cleanliness and the room. Value for money is always going to be a very subjective issue - knowing the costs involved in care provision I am confident that we (and the vast majority of good care homes in the country) provide exceptional value for money. The issue may be more that care provision costs a lot of money - we all agree with that - but in terms of value for money I don't think many other products come close:) Kindest regards

The decision to put Mum into a care home was made much easier by the warm and friendly advice given by staff. Mum has settled into her new environment quickly and is enjoying the company and safety the home has to offer.

Good afternoon. Thank you for this feedback in relation to your experience with our Care Team and Care Home at The Manor in Exminster. It's really lovely to read that your brother-in-law, though frail, is in better health than when he became a resident at The Manor. We certainly do encourage our residents to go outside to enjoy the secure garden area or the central courtyard where many enjoy being involved with growing plants in the raised beds. The Manor also has the ability to book one of the two company mini busses throughout the year. Please do speak with the Care Home Manager if you have any concerns that your brother-in-law may not be getting as much opportunity to spend time outside as he would like.
