My grandmother has been a resident of The Manor for a number of years. During that time she has sadly deteriorated due to her condition, but the level of care she has received during her decline has been incredible. The staff in all areas care so much for her, both physically and emotionally. I truly am so thrilled with The Manor and I am grateful to all of the staff for everything they do.

We were recommended to The Manor, for Mum's care, by a friend and it is the best thing we could have done. Mum has dementia and stayed at The Manor for two years. During that time, she was very well cared for. All the staff, without exception, were extremely cheerful, kind and very caring. It was particularly difficult for everyone during the lockdown periods and we felt the home did everything they could to keep the residents well, safe and entertained. Mum's stage of dementia was very challenging and we felt the staff handled it very well and professionally. We would like to thank all the staff for helping and caring for Mum during this period.

Through the difficult time of lockdown and no visits, the communication from the home has been excellent via email, phone calls and a monthly magazine full of pictures and news of the resident participating in the activities. All very reassuring of the welfare and being of our loved ones. When phoning to speak to my father, it's never a problem for any member of staff to take the phone to him, no matter what time of day, and they always give me an update on his health etc. All very reassuring to the family that he's in the right place. Many thanks to all at The Manor Exminster.

The Manor is an excellent care home and every care and attention is given to the residents, giving them a happy and loving environment. I am especially impressed by the way the staff have kept all the residents safe, during this Coronavirus pandemic. The manager and deputy manager are both outstanding, resulting in a lovely, extremely well run family home and I thank them and all the dedicated staff for their hard work.

I can not praise the staff at The Manor enough for the care they provide for my mum. Especially their outstanding efforts to keep her safe in these difficult times. You have asked me not to use more than 200 words. I only need four; Mum is happy there.
Thank you so much for your kind words, it has been a pleasure to have mom here and to look after her. We are so happy you are all happy with the care we give and would like to say thank you again for all the support you have given to the staff in the care they provide for mom.
Mum has always told the family that she is so happy living at The Manor, from the very first few weeks that she moved in, and this has continued to be the case over the 18 months she has been a resident. The atmosphere is always welcoming and homely, with plenty of staff who are always attentive and caring to both residents and visitors alike. I have always found the local management to be competent and fully aware of the current health and well being of every resident. I could not have hoped for a better care home, which I know is the view of the whole family, who are all regular visitors.

Nothing is too much trouble for the wonderful staff who carry out their duties with a smile, showing dignity and compassion to all. A lovely variety of home-cooked food is provided. The Manor is a true home from home.

Good morning Hazel. Thank you for taking the time to write and publish this review of your experience with our Care Team and Care Home at The Manor in Exminster. It's great to know that your mum is happy and feels well cared for. Kindest regards, Nathan.
We had the difficult decision to place my father at The Manor after several falls at his house resulting in visits to the hospital and a realization that he just can't take care of himself anymore. As I live overseas this was the first time I was able to visit him and over a week I visited him twice a day at different times of the day. What stood out about The Manor was the staff. I witnessed their interaction with all the residents and they always found time to have a chat with them, a kind word, and a smile. Their patience was amazing. They tried to make this feel like a home with the kitchen always open for a coffee or tea and biscuit if a resident had just got up. The facilities were good and it always seemed clean but in the end, it is the staff the makes the difference and I thought they were wonderful.
Hello Christine. Thank you for taking the time to leave this review of your experience with our Care Home and Care Team at The Manor in Exminster. It's great to know that you and your Dad were both really happy with and at The Manor. I agree with you, we provide the building, the equipment etc but...
The Manor is friendly and welcoming to residents and creates an atmosphere of calm. I visited as a volunteer to sing with the residents and encourage them to sing along with me and our volunteer group. There is a culture of positivity and encouragement here. All residents are included and can get involved in extra events if they wish (most of them do). They are engaged and enjoy this stimulation making it a pleasure to visit and sing there. The staff work hard to make it a warm and friendly home. Special mention to the lady who arranges and organises the extra activities.
Good afternoon Linda G. Thank you for leaving this really positive review of your experience with our Care Home and Care Team at The Manor in Exminster. I can only agree with you. We have a fantastic care team who work really hard to create a fun, friendly and family atmosphere at the home - it is...
I am very happy with the care my father is receiving in The Manor, mainly due to the fantastic staff who work there. They seem to genuinely care about the residents and they clearly try to make life as interesting and comfortable as they can for them. People are treated as individuals and the care is adapted to their preferences and needs.
The Manor has a relaxed atmosphere, staff are never short of a smile and visitors are made to feel welcome.
I have a huge amount of respect for the staff (who must have endless patience!) and I am very grateful for the care they are providing to my father.
Thank you so much and it was great to meet you both. Dad was so happy to see you both. I will pass this on to all our care staff it is so nice to be able to give them lovely fead back. We will do what we promised and send you both a copy of our newsletter every month and look forward to seeing you when you are back in England for the next visit.
We are so impressed with the care and attention that the staff at The Manor give to all people in their care. It is always a pleasure to go there and the carers make the family so welcome with tea or coffee and a chat.
Our friend passed away on May 27 but the wonderful staff at The Manor, who cared so much and showed such feeling towards our friend, and such a comfort to my husband and I, thank you girls.
