Mum enjoys the activities and the attention given to her. We are happy with the home and glad Mum is able to live a good life there, feeling safe and happy.
Hello AH. Thank you for taking the time to leave this lovely feedback relating to your experience with our Care Team and Care Home at Dove Tree House in Exeter. It's lovely to read that your mum is happy at Dove Tree and that she feels safe and well looked after. Also, that the care team are...
Dove Tree has shown kindness and good care towards my mother in law, the placement was initially temporary to ascertain her abilities and needs. Dove Tree are responsive, supportive, caring & kind. Sarah, the deputy manager is instrumental in supporting Mother's needs, her personality type, quirks and understandable fears and devastation she felt at the realisation that she would not return home. Sarah regularly spends time calming down repeat upsets as Mother settles and is very hands on with any concerns. She has also been extremely supportive to us as a family and advised accurately on the minefield of Local Authority processes. In general all staff are very kind and attentive. The only minor comment we would make about improvements is senior staff / Management cover over the weekend. This is not to suggest that staff lack direction on weekends (far from it ) but it is not possible to receive management led responses or reassurances over the weekend.

Unfourntaly fell ill, ended up in hosputal. Staff kept us informed the whole time from when my mum became ill. She came back and was looked after. Good communication at all times, not just when my mum is poorly. If she needs anything, we are always informed. Mum is very happy here, which makes us very happy. All staff are lovely, respectful and compassionate.

Always good to know the management are around and if needed, no problem would be too great for them. The home is kept spotlessly clean at all times. My mother enjoys and takes part in the regular activities each week.
Wouldn't want my mother to be anywhere else.

My uncle has been in the home for appox 12 months, his choice as he's enjoyed being here. He was only in for 4 weeks to recoup but felt safe and enjoyed company, so we decided to keep him here for longer. He enjoys chatting with staff, knows them all by their names, they take him out with myself occasionally, spoil him with bacon/eggs. And bedrooms always spotless!! Well done all.

All the staff were friendly, compassionate and caring. They made necessary adjustments to be able to support Dad during his recovery period. As relatives, we always felt very welcome to visit and the staff soon recognised us. The home was always clean and tidy and had a happy atmosphere. Staff wear clear name badges so it is easy to identify them and their role within the home. Phone calls were answered in a friendly and efficient manner.
Dad enjoyed his period of care at Dove Tree House reporting that he enjoyed the food, he participated in many activities and enjoyed social time with the other residents .

I feel that Dove Tree House are proactive in their work with my dad. When I ring in I always feel listened to. If there is something that can't be sorted in one phone call, I have always had a recall. The home is clean and in a good state of repairs. There are activities each week which are varied to try and suit all the residents needs. Dad enjoys his food and says its good. Dad loved his sport and it would be nice if he could have sports channels on his TV in his room. Would be nice if he could have some trips out in the minibus Dove Tree has use of. This would be good for mental health.

I visited a lady who I used to support in her own home, recently she was moved into Dove Tree House. I can say that since moving here she is a different person. I found her smiling laughing enjoying life rather than feeling excluded as she used to be. She was telling me about all the games that the residents/staff do. Although she is not my family I believe she is finally happy. Thank you.
