From the first moment my sister-in-law moved into Croft Lodge Care Home she was treated with respect and, most of all, made to feel at home. Even as much as putting shelves up to take all of her precious items also making it her home. The staff are all very attentive and caring. Overall, we could not have found a better home for all my sister-in-law's needs. Also, may I say the food is all home-cooked and very tasty and they meet all her needs with very soft foods and find the time to feed her.
Thank you for the glowing feedback! We are so delighted your sister-in-law feels at home. Our caring staff are our best assets to ensure residents have the best possible experience. We appreciate you trusting Croft Lodge to care for your sister-in-law.
My mum has been living at Croft Lodge since July 2022 and she is very happy there. The care staff are exceptionally caring, it seems more than a job for some of them, who seem to have real affection and care for my mum. Honestly, I wish my mum could have more exercise and activity but I think there isn’t enough time for that these days. The food always looks excellent with lovely home-cooked meals, individualised to residents’ needs, for instance, my mum’s weight needs building up, so they add high-calorie ingredients to her meals. The staff know her well and respect her opinions and dignity. I would definitely recommend Croft Lodge, based purely on how happy and calm my mum is there, and that is down to the excellent staff team.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, Caroline. We are delighted to hear that your mother is happy and well cared for at Croft Lodge. Our staff truly have a passion for providing exceptional care and we are glad that it shows in their interactions with your mother. As for exercise and...
A massive thank you to you all.

My wife has been in Croft Lodge for most of February. She has some medical problems but with the care and excellent attention, she is improving daily. The care staff and management can't do enough to help and I am hoping with her care in Croft Lodge she will be home very soon.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review. We are so happy to hear that your wife is improving and that you are pleased with the care she has received at Croft Lodge. We will do our best to continue providing excellent care and attention in order to help her recover and return home soon. Thank you again for your kind words they mean a lot to us!
Although only spending a short time, after a period of hospitalisation, at Croft Lodge Care Home, my mother, at 101 years old, not accepting her failing health and fighting it with such a strong will, caused herself and others much distress. The love, care and attention given to her by the staff was so wonderful, giving me so much peace of mind and allowing her, at the end, to pass away peacefully. The respect and dignity shown to her at the end shall always be appreciated.
Malcolm, your lovely words are so gratefully received by all at Croft Lodge. It was our absolute pleasure to have that time with your mum and so glad she felt at home with us. Please do feel free to stop by if ever you are in the area. The manager and the team.
Happy with everything and likes everything about the place As a visitor, we see evidence of great care.
Thank you, Catherine, for such a wonderful review. We are so overjoyed that your friend is happy with her home and we look forward to many more years with her. Look forward to seeing you again.
The carers have been extremely helpful and friendly and have done their very best to ease the way for me. Meals have been very good with plenty of drinks available at all times.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We loved having you stay with us, and we are so glad we could help you achieve your goal of returning home. We love that we keep in touch, and can't wait for you to visit again for a coffee and natter!
The staff at Croft Lodge are exceptional; they have shown such care and love to my mother that they feel like family. She spent the last few years of her life, including the difficult time of Covid lockdowns, here and was always well looked after and involved in the activities provided. I was so relieved that she was able to return from the hospital after a severe stroke to be cared for by people who knew and loved her. Their cheerfulness and sensitivity are amazing. Sitting with Mum at times of the day and night when visitors aren't normally present, I witnessed the professionalism and courtesy of the dedicated carers. She sadly died earlier this month, but I am indebted to everyone who helped give her a peaceful ending and made her last few years enjoyable.
Thank you so much for your lovely review and recognition of the amazing team we have. Your mum was a huge part of Croft Lodge in the last few years, and she is missed by all. Do pop in to see us whenever you can as I'm sure the team would love to see you. Thank you for all your support over the years too.
All management and care staff cannot do enough for the residents. I spent a lot of time at Croft Lodge Care Home and have seen how the residents are treated with love and respect.

We have just been to a lovely garden party. The staff were wonderful. I think my mother is in good hands.

I stayed at this care home over the last couple of years as respite care. I found the staff helpful and friendly. No help too much. There is constant investment and refurbishment. The management is refreshingly accessible.
Thank you for your kinds words and lovely feedback. Hope you are keeping well.
The Covid virus has made life difficult for everyone but the management and staff have been very supportive and helpful.
Thank you for your lovely feedback, we really appreciate it.
The care home staff are very kind and helpful. My mother is extremely well looked after and is very happy at the home.
Thank you for the lovely feedback. We are glad to hear your mother is happy and looked after well at Croft Lodge. We shall pass this on to the team.
My mother sadly passed away on April 7th 2020. I would like to say thank you to the care home manager and her staff for the treatment she received during her short illness that eventually brought about her life's end. I was kept regularly in touch with the changes in her condition and was very relieved to hear that the end came peacefully, two members of staff took turns to sit with her during her last hours, for her not to be alone was very important to me. My mum was a resident at Croft Lodge for the last two years of her life and was always happy there when asked on occasions whether everything was ok, she would always praise the staff mentioning among other things their kindness and cheerfulness. With this in mind, I would like to say a big thank you for the treatment at the end of her life which went far beyond the call of duty.
Thank you, John, for your kind words. Your Mum was very much loved as part of the home and will be missed by the carers. Thank you once again for your kind words.
