All the staff at Doveridge are very caring and supportive. Food is excellent and varied and plenty of different activities organised. We particularly appreciate the support given to help my father, who still lives at home, when visiting my mother in Doveridge. The care given, after Mum's recent fall,
could not be faulted. Thank you for looking after Mum.

Mum has been at Doveridge Care Home since February, three months now. Mum has settled in really well, she especially loves the food. I feel at ease when I leave her as I know she is being well looked after. Doveridge is amazing and all the staff is so helpful. I would highly recommend it.

My grandad had a fall and became very unwell, we had to find a care home quickly. Doveridge Care Home was brilliant and could take him on the same day as I phoned to enquire about a room (respite). He has been very happy here and very well looked after, the only reason for leaving is because he requires
full nursing care now.

My mum has just had a short respite at Doveridge after becoming very restless and withdrawn at home. The staff were patient, caring and understanding. They reassured her and kept her safe and occupied. She even joined in some activities towards the end of her stay. The whole family felt very happy with

Doveridge is an excellent care home. I have made some friends and enjoy my time with them. The staff help me where needed and we have a laugh together and I enjoy activities. I could have not chosen a better home. I am so happy at Doveridge.

Job Title: Registered Manager Joined: 2023

I have been with Doveleigh Care for nearly 8 years, starting as an assistant manager (team leader) progressing to a deputy, acting manager and now at present registered manager, I started at Dove Court for 6 years where I became manager and moved to Doveridge to learn different skills working with residents with a diagnosis of dementia.
I have worked in the care industry for 21 years, I started my career doing homecare which I really enjoyed and this fitted around young children commitments at the time. I had a slight change of career in care when the children were old enough for me to do this, I worked in a children's care home as a support worker for children with challenging behaviour and autism, this was an enjoyable challenge and I learnt a lot of different skills.
I got into care as it was something I was always interested in and caring is very natural to my personality.
Outside of work family time is important, I have 2 very young grandchildren who I enjoy watching grow up, I enjoy travelling so every opportunity I am jetting off somewhere warm.
