All the staff have been exemplary. Staff are amazing - one stayed an extra two hours to sort out a problem we had!
Rooms are well equipped, spacious and very homely. Having a little patio garden makes it extra special.
Clean, relaxed and freshly hatched chicks to hold, not only the resident's attention but mine also. It gave my friend a chance to talk to the other residents as I know he can be guarded at first.
I am enjoying the food and activities. Sitting outside and going out in the dove bug.
Always, when I come here I am very well welcomed. I find the staff very good. First thing they do is make me a cup of tea.
During the period my father was a resident at Dove Court he was treated with great respect and provided with excellent care by the staff. The care home is in a lovely setting and always seems clean and welcoming. The resident's needs are always considered and there are lots of activities and excursions provided. My father loved his time there. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
My mum moved Dove Court as she wasn't coping at home after my father passed away. We are so pleased to have found Dove Court. My mum is very happy and the staff are excellent; nothing is too much trouble for them. They take great care of her and the food is excellent. I'm currently living overseas and I'm confident that my mum is in excellent hands. The conservatory is lovely and my mum enjoys sitting there and talking to friends or reading. The patio is lovely for sitting out in the summer and enjoying the flowers and wonderful view. Overall we couldn't be happier with Dove Court.
In my many visits, I have not once met a member of staff who isn’t friendly and polite with both me and the residents. They do a fantastic job and my friend who is a resident cannot praise them enough.
They have all taken the time to get to know her as a person and notice if she isn’t her usual self. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dove Court to anyone who is looking for care for a friend or relative.
My mother has been cared for extremely well and kept very comfortable. Our family couldn't have found better care for her anywhere else.
Everyone is very friendly and most importantly, attentive to residents needs. Meals take into account the personal likes and dislikes and a glass of wine is always served at lunch. My mother, who rarely wants to go out on the Dove bus, spends a lot of time in her room, which she is very pleased with and having her own TV is a godsend, as well as a well-tended patio garden. She also likes to wander around helping run the home and staff seem very happy to indulge her. All in all, after six months in and we are very confident she is being well cared for and if anything was amiss we would know straight away from staff or other residents. The only complaint we have is the hedge is so high it blocks the beautiful view for lower floor rooms.
Staff always very friendly and always ready to help.
My father-in-law likes Dove Court very much. The room he has is very clean and it's nice and quiet. The staff are always smiling and very friendly. The food is excellent.
Very pleased that my grandmother is being looked after so well.
Always friendly and helpful. Everyone is good with my friend.
Dove Court is a caring residential home and my mother is well looked after which gives me peace of mind. When I do have concerns they are taken on board.
Fine
I and my family get a lot of support from the staff at Dove Court care home.
I have my family stay to lunch on many occasions.
Nothing is too much trouble at Dove Court and I love the activities.
Whenever I visit Dove Court the staff greet me with a smile and an offer of a hot or cold drink. They all appear to be happy in the work they do with their residents. I always find a few residents sat in the lovely conservatory chatting and doing the daily crossword. The atmosphere is always so relaxed and friendly. My relative says that he would not want to be in any other home nothing is ever too much trouble and the activities and cooking are excellent.
Staff are always about without being too much involved when we visit, which is so nice. It is more homely for all of us.
Effort is made to cater for residents with a wider range of requirements from professional support for those with significant health issues, to thoughtful gestures to enhance the lives of more active residents. Daily activities and outings bring pleasure to many. Staff make an effort to make residents and family welcome and after a settling in period Dove Court succeeds in creating a sense of homeliness. When there are issues to be addressed, it is possible to approach staff to work out a solution. Food, care, housekeeping are of a consistent high standard.
I come to see my dad every weekend I'm always greeted with a friendly smile and made to feel very welcome. Whenever special activities are happening I am always invited. I am always supported with everything my dad is going through by the staff. This is overall a great home!

Meet the Team (2)

My name is Amanda and I became the manager for Dove Court in April 2024.
I have worked for the company since 2017. I came on board as an assistant manager and progressed to a manager.
I have always worked in the care profession since I was 19 years old and I thoroughly enjoy it.I enjoy ensuring the residents are empowered to make day-to-day decisions over their lives and believe safeguarding is of the utmost importance.
I’m glad that Doveleigh Care can make a difference in so many people’s lives – staff and residents included.

My name is Nikii and I am Dove Court’s Deputy Manager.
I started working in Domiciliary care in 2014 and progressed to a supervisor and eventually a Care Coordinator.
I wanted a change from working in the community so started working in a care home as a senior carer in 2021, during the COVID pandemic.
I have been at Dove Court since late 2021 and have just been promoted to deputy manager this April.I love to make a difference in people’s lives and enjoy providing good support and guidance to staff members.
