My mother has been at the Malthouse for eight years now. I find the management are always up to speed with what is happening with each of the residents. Whislt she is gradually deteriorating The Malthouse staff have been wonderful. They are attentive as they care caring, my mother is not always east to tend but the staff are wonderful with her. A few months ago we thought she would pass away but thanks to the staff and care she pulled through. We have been lucky finding such a home for mother. If there are any negatives the dining experience could be a little better and some parts of the Malthouse are beginning to look a bit tired.
The Malthouse truly exceeded our expectations with their care for my very elderly mother, whose needs were greater than most. The level of care and attention given by all staff at all times was exceptional in all areas - food, comfort, sleep, medical attention, etc. A great team of people.

We had an urgent need to find respite/medium term care for my 106 year old mother-in-law. The Malthouse and its staff went beyond any of my expectations, whilst remaining very professional at all times. So, in the midst of all the Xmas goings-on Elsie was given huge focus and care, as were we, the relatives. I have used many care homes in recent years - this is the very best by a long, long way.
