A very warm welcome awaits you at The Malthouse Residential Home. The staff are friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. The individual care and attention given to each resident is excellent. the environment is clean, comfortable and very homely. Individual interests are catered for, activities that take place are stimulating, physically and mentally. Excellent support from community nursing and rehab teams. The food choice and menus are excellent. There is always plenty of choice and wine with the meal if wanted. Having sampled the food myself, I would recommend it to anyone.
This has been a wonderful experience for my family. The Malthouse has such character - I hate clinical buildings. The staff, all the staff, have been fantastic and caring 24/7. My mother has been at the Malthouse for eight years now. I find the management are always up to speed with what is happening with each of the residents. Whislt she is gradually deteriorating The Malthouse staff have been wonderful. They are attentive as they care caring, my mother is not always east to tend but the staff are wonderful with her. A few months ago we thought she would pass away but thanks to the staff and care she pulled through. We have been lucky finding such a home for mother. If there are any negatives the dining experience could be a little better and some parts of the Malthouse are beginning to look a bit tired.
