When I visit I find the staff extremely helpful and polite, they always have a smile for everyone. My mum is really happy living at The Malthouse she is exceptionally well cared for. I couldn't wish for a nicer more cosy loving home for her. Thank you.

You cannot fault the home and its facilities.
The staff are friendly, helpful and caring. I could not have wished for a better place for my mother to see her later years out.

I feel that The Malthouse is a very happy home. Genuinely care about the residents it comes from their heart.
The manager and deputy manager support each other and honour each other.
I think they enjoy each other and what they do to strive to make The Malthouse the wonderful, caring home that it is.

also like the way the staff are hand picked and trained to a very high standard.

The Malthouse is exceptional in the care they provide for residents and the welcome they give to families. My mother was a resident here for nearly four years until she died peacefully at the home in December. During her time in the home she was always treated with dignity and respect, and with love
and humour - always laughing with her never at her. She was always calm and content and smiled warmly at all the carers, clearly showing how much she liked them.


When it became clear that she was nearing the end of her life they couldn't have been kinder and the physical and emotional care they provided was exceptional. They were also so kind to us as a family and I was touched that I would arrive unannounced to find that they were with her, offering care or just sitting quietly by her bed. They provide the quality of care that we would all want for ourselves and those we love and we are truly grateful.

I find The Malthouse to be a cosy, safe, friendly home from home for my mum. The staff make us feel so welcome whenever we visit. The Malthouse is without a doubt, the best home we could have chosen for mum. There is something going on every day and time for staff to spend quality one to one time with
people.


I would be more than happy to recommend The Malthouse to anyone. It is truly excellent!

A very warm welcome awaits you at The Malthouse Residential Home. The staff are friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. The individual care and attention given to each resident is excellent. the environment is clean, comfortable and very homely. Individual interests are catered for, activities
that take place are stimulating, physically and mentally. Excellent support from community nursing and rehab teams. The food choice and menus are excellent. There is always plenty of choice and wine with the meal if wanted. Having sampled the food myself, I would recommend it to anyone.

This has been a wonderful experience for my family. The Malthouse has such character - I hate clinical buildings. The staff, all the staff, have been fantastic and caring 24/7. The Manager runs a lovely extra caring friendly establishment. I cannot thank her enough. I am so grateful. I will be back
as a resident in the near future.

My mother has been at the Malthouse for eight years now. I find the management are always up to speed with what is happening with each of the residents. Whislt she is gradually deteriorating The Malthouse staff have been wonderful. They are attentive as they care caring, my mother is not always east
to tend but the staff are wonderful with her. A few months ago we thought she would pass away but thanks to the staff and care she pulled through. We have been lucky finding such a home for mother. If there are any negatives the dining experience could be a little better and some parts of the Malthouse are beginning to look a bit tired.

The Malthouse truly exceeded our expectations with their care for my very elderly mother, whose needs were greater than most. The level of care and attention given by all staff at all times was exceptional in all areas - food, comfort, sleep, medical attention, etc. A great team of people.

We had an urgent need to find respite/medium term care for my 106 year old mother-in-law. The Malthouse and its staff went beyond any of my expectations, whilst remaining very professional at all times. So, in the midst of all the Xmas goings-on Elsie was given huge focus and care, as were we, the relatives.
I have used many care homes in recent years - this is the very best by a long, long way.
